I know his team are likely to win the treble but, REALLY???

Rodgers, Gray & McGlynn shortlisted for manager of the year - BBC Sport

ย

Gray and McGlynn. Yes.

But with a massive budget does Rogers deserve to even be nominated? I'd question his abilities if he didn't manage to get close to winning everything in Scotland.

Martindale should be in with a shout and if they beat Falkirk to the title then heโ€™s the obvious winner.

Not convinced that Martindale is close to manager of the year never mind obvious as I would think the team that goes down should be more than capable of coming straight back up.

The management duo at Arbroath have done far more to deserve to be in with a shout.

Bringing up a part time team takes some real management.ย

We are delighted to announce that our co managers Colin Hamilton and David Gold have been named as Glens Scottish League One Managers of the Season.
Hammy and Goldy guided us to the title after taking charge in August last year when we found ourselves bottom of the division and we are delighted for them to receive the recognition they rightly deserve.
Speaking to our managers they said, โ€œFirst and foremost, we want to say what an incredible honor it is to be named as Glens Manager of the Season. Our whole outlook is togetherness and creating a solid team spirt and dressing room, so this award is dedicated to our players and staff for their talent, work ethic, and unity, which have been the heartbeat of our season. Everyone involved in Arbroath FC demonstrated their character in every challenge put in front of us this season.
We also want to pay tribute to the fans who have played a huge part in the success this year. Your passion and noise lifted us in tough moments and gave us the edge when it mattered most.
League One is an extremely tough challenge week in week out going up against quality players and managers and we have nothing but respect for all of them and thatโ€™s what makes this achievement even more meaningful.
Weโ€™ve made history this season. But weโ€™re not stopping here. This is just the beginning, and we are all looking forward to going back to The Scottish Chsmpionship once again.โ€
A massive congratulations to Colin and David!

If Boring Boring Brendan had won the Premiership while being manager of St Mirren, Hibs, Kilmarnock or any other Diddy Club then his latest award would be well deserved.

Definitely does not deserve to be Manager of the Year when his Club, Green Cnuts FC has a bigger budget than all 40 Diddy Clubs budgets combined.

David Gray, for me as the Premiership Manager of the Year.
