faraway saint Posted May 5, 2025 Report Posted May 5, 2025 This is our 5th game against them this season and the previous 4 games have been very similar, dour stuff with us losing every single game. They must be doing something right as they've been safely top 6 for some time but I get the feeling we could/should have won at least 2 or 3 of the previous 4. Fingers crossed, this Saturday we turn things around now that it seems there is a slight chance of Europe, depending on Celtic winning the Scottish Cup. Quote
DougJamie Posted May 8, 2025 Report Posted May 8, 2025 Yes pressure all on them and 1 goal for 8 against since split... nothing to lose...got my Hibs ticket be lovely if it means possible 5th... living the dream Quote
beyond our ken Posted May 8, 2025 Report Posted May 8, 2025 United have not demonstrated much resilience recently and some of the players that have seen them through the season are reportedly starting to wilt. We actually have a stronger squad than we have had for months, even without Olusanya we are creating more chances (maybe because we don't have that default long ball & sprint option any more) Looking forward to the game and a wee day out on the Ember bus and a taxi to the ground Quote
Callum Gilhooley Posted May 9, 2025 Report Posted May 9, 2025 I spent a couple of days this week in an around Dundee , spoke with lots of Arab fans & each to a man reckon we will win. All spoke of their injury issues & criticised a makeshift defence with lack of pace . Fingers crossed they have got it right. Quote

faraway saint Posted May 10, 2025 Author Report Posted May 10, 2025 Had to knock back an invite to Tannadice today, got a previous engagement in Aberdeen. The weather's going to be pretty good so no need to wear too many layers. United are this seasons bogey team and today would be a nice time to break that superstitious shite. United 1-2 St Mirren. Scott-Leeds Posted May 10, 2025 Report Posted May 10, 2025 7 points from 9 in top six No reason why we can’t get another 4 in remaining games I feel we really should be around 8 points better off than we are But alas , not the case By Wednesday we could be 5th united have sevco away then Aberdeen home … Quote
StanleySaint Posted May 10, 2025 Report Posted May 10, 2025 An excellent 2 nil victory for Saints we're on a roll, brilliant spirit from manager and players. Quote
