Brian, as well as being a true Buddie, was a great friend and a great character. As well as his love for the club he loved music and enjoying good food. He saw the best in everyone and everything.ย
a true gentleman and a sad loss.ย
rest easy my friend ๐Ÿ

RIP BEK.ย

To say we had our back and forths would be an understatement. But never in question his passion for St Mirren Football Club.ย

The two of you were great entertainment in your friendly debates. The way it should be in a forum.

A top top bloke.

Loved his wife

Loved his music

Loved his football

Loved St Mirren

Loved his work at East Kilbride Dementia Carers Group & he was passionate about the care provided for everyone he cared for, including families.

Brian assisted a couple of others who needed a lift to get to matches over the years too.

He loved the debates on the forum "liar liar pants on fire" ๐Ÿคฃ he said now & again.

A Paisley man & a top top Buddie.

That is a shame. Great guy and a true bud. Would say his job tells you how much he cared for people and he will be missed.ย

I didn't know BuddieinEK apart from his posts on here.ย  He clearly had great passions for both St. Mirren and music.ย  I always looked forward to his reviews of gigs he'd attended.

I remember reading something about him being involved with the East Kilbride Dementia group and I doff my cap to him for being involved with such a worthy cause.

I didn't know his name until now but someone with the same name regularly got in touch with Natasha Raskin-Sharp and Iain Anderson on their radio shows on BBC Radio Scotland.ย  Does anyone know if it's the same gentleman?

R.I.P BuddieinEK, you shall be missed and thank you for your contribution to "The Final Chapter" book.

Yeah he was a regular contributor to Radio Scotland. Always sending messages to Janice Forsyth in the Afternoon Show. Bless him.

I didn't know about this.ย  I remember Janice Forsyth hosting the Afternoon Show then Michelle McManus took over but I hadn't known it was because of this.ย  As someone who has experienced a loved one with this horrible illness, my thoughts are with Janice Forsyth.ย  I remember her and Bryan Burnett on a show called "NB" about what was going on in Scotland.ย  Bryan Burnett himself hasn't been well recently either and hopefully he makes a full recovery. ๐Ÿ™

Bryan Burnett has a type of cancer which after an operation he will make a full recovery and return to his radio programme.

That's great news.๐Ÿ‘ Thanks Shull.

"Get It On" is a decent radio show and I like Bryan Burnett as a presenter.
