Poor 2nd half....however thru.... .....  wee Fraser needs to start every game

Surprised he was subbed, always on the move, finds space and, overall, finds, a teammate with a pass.

Another poor performance from us despite that should have been 4-1 this is going to be a long season if we keep falling asleep like that .

Probably subbed because we needed more height in team due to them causing us problems from set-pieces

As I am 62 i hope it's a very long season..... but come on El...the first 45 was pretty good....agreed 2nd half shite

Almost the proverbial game of two halves.

We were cruising at two nil after 45 minutes. It took Ayr until the fiftieth minute to get their first shot at goal. Everything seemed to change after Mandron's miss. We started to let the game get away from us and couldn't handle their corners.

A slog in the end but a win is a win so on we go. Hearts will definitely prove tougher opponents but we will have more minutes in the legs and our newbies will hopefully have bedded in.

First half we played quite well though Ayr were just sitting in and playing for a draw. We got two up and similar to last week seemed to lose purpose. I know you all seem to Love Taylor but I really do not think he is strong enough to play in the Premier. Certainly not every week. Perhaps keep him as an impact sub. Not totally convinced with King. Looks skilful but not sure he is strong or aggressive enough for our League. Same with Richardson. Did not do much wrong but Did not do enough right to convince me. Still we got to the next round.  Think we need a midfielder creator and a centre forward. Not easy to find on our budget.

Agreed  it's the second half I'm on about the exact same thing happened against Forfar we can't keep doing that or we are in for a long hard season.

Very early days though, this won’t have been lost on tactical supremo Robbo

A bit of a slog and was unimpressed with any of the new signings. King and Richardson don’t look up to the standard whilst although  Mandron was poor, he was replaced by someone even worse( Ayunga). Forward line non existent and goals only come from midfield. I doubt Celtic will be shaking in their boots about next weekend. Vast improvement required to beat Hearts. Any chance of signing a centre forward ?

Hard to judge the new signings from the bench.

ETA. George didn't have enough to do to judge.

Really harsh, not even match sharp yet and you’re writing them off.

Classic negativity

You certainly needn’t worry about that. How did you think the match went, just as a matter of interest ?

The players play football at training every day.

They should be fully fit and ready for any match.

It's their employment.
