DougJamie Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 Brill....oh how Hearts must love playing us 😃 😀 Quote
Qarsaan Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 What a crappy way to win. No matter a win it is. Please, may we get another home tie for the next round? Preferably one to be on a Saturday afternoon with a 3 o'clock start? Quote

fmckinn Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 Dissapointed with the crowd today , thought it was a poor turnout for us Quote
stlucifer Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 Absolutely buzzing. Gogic with a wonder strike and wee Shanks in the huff. I hate penalty shootouts, except this one. GIRUY McInnes. If you're gonna win a trophy it ain't gonna be this one! Quote

shull Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 Or they shouldn't charge extortionate admission prices Quote
guinness Posted August 16 Report Posted August 16 First 50/55 minutes we were much the better side then fell out of it a bit. Hearts were much better after that without actually creating very much. Lost a goal to a free header from a corner. Though we were a bit slow bringing on our substitutes but probably just about deserved to get to penalties. As for the penalties. The First one snuck under the goalkeeper and the next four were superb. Generally an entertaining match and we got through. Just want a home draw. Quote

It is no surprise none of our officials are asked to major tournaments. He is supposed to be one of our best but is awful. The booking of John is as poor a piece of refereeing as I have ever seen. The linesman, unusually, was right up with play and he didn't even flag for a foul. Quote

One of the best days in St Mirrens history and all that for a diddy Cup. 🙄 Edited August 17 by faraway saint Quote

And it's St. Mirren's. NOT plural. Quote

Seemed to fall right out of in second half and could sense the equaliser was in the post. Finally, why not just omit playing the two duds up front and play more midfielders who are the only ones likely to score. Or else…….buy a centre forward !!! Quote
