And it's St. Mirren's. NOT plural. Pathetic response. Attempted abuse? 🤣🤣🤣 You're a dullarx, how's that? 🤡 Quote

Now run along back to your playroom. Quote

You then fabricate some sort of abuse, god knows how you get on in the real world. TBH almost everyone on here is smarter than you so it's no real effort. Back to your miserable world. 🤡 Quote

Tom Blacks Left Boot Posted August 17, 2025 Report Posted August 17, 2025 Well that was a hard shift for the lads! We played well enough in the First-Half, Hearts had a lot of possession but weren't doing much with it. I thought it was going to be similar to the Motherwell game as I couldn't see where a goal was coming from. Then that man, Alex Gogić proved me wrong. I felt quite good at Half-Time and thought we'd build on that lead but then came the Second-Half. I thought under Stephen Robinson we had managed to exorcise the bad luck we used to have in this stadium of the away team getting a "lift" from shooting towards their own fans. After the Hearts goal, I could feel an anxious, nervy feeling in the West Stand, as if people expected Hearts to get another but under Stephen Robinson, St. Mirren don't give up. I would have preferred to have won it in Extra-Time but it wasn't to be and you can't argue with five out of five on penalty kicks. Positives: I thought Miguel Freckleton had a very good game. Mark O'Hara was good as well - back to his usual standard perhaps. Shamal George again had a good game - on his showings so far definitely one of the best goalkeepers we've had at the club (apologies to all the Zak fans). Jayden Richardson was also good and I think Stephen Robinson will get the best out of him and make Aberdeen fans look rather silly. Jonah Ayunga and Mikael Mandron did well upfront together, I was a bit sceptical about starting with them but they did well and put in a tremendous amount of work. All five penalties scored. We're into the next round. Negatives: Richard King mouthing off to the referee and getting another silly booking. I think Alex Gogić actually pushed him away from another situation to stop him from getting involved in that. Keanu Baccus was probably substituted at the right time because I think he'd have been booked for his next foul although referee Steven McLean had a "bad day at the office", I'm still wondering what he thought he saw when Declan John put the tackle in and Steven McLean deemed worthy of a yellow card?! Anyway, we're successfully through to the next round! Quote
