September 27, 2025Sep 27 I don't follow golf nearly as much as I used to but the Ryder Cup is a different level. There's nothing better than pumping the Americans, more so just now with Trump in charge. He turned up yesterday before the afternoon matches but it didn't help much. Sadly the only Scottish involvement fizzled out yesterday as Bob McIntyre never really got going, although he's been given another chance in todays first set of matches. The score going into Saturday is USA 2.5 Europe 5.5 C'mon Europe. Oh, where's Shull? In jail, loony bin, anyone know?
September 27, 2025Sep 27 Author Europe pissing all over the good old USA. A classic when the crowd were giving McIlroy serious abuse, he turns round and says "Shut the f**k up" and drills his next shot to 3 feet. What a guy.
September 27, 2025Sep 27 Author With America close to anarchy it's no surprise this had to be displayed after the behaviour of golf fans got way out of hand. Edited September 27, 2025Sep 27 by faraway saint
September 28, 2025Sep 28 Read the report on BBC website, quite scathing indictment on the behaviour of the USA fans, cheering and jeering is one thing but the personal abuse in a game that likes to think it is above the common sports like football is well short of acceptable.

It's no surprise as this sort of behaviour, albeit the last couple of days have taken it to a new level of unacceptable behavior, has been on the increase. Going back to the start of the year at the Australian Open tennis there were numerous instances of arseholes being arseholes. Tougher action required by security to immediately eject as many cnuts as possible. Not as easy done as said but strong action, not words, is required Edited September 28, 2025Sep 28 by faraway saint

September 28, 2025Sep 28 I can see the European committee looking for a safety plan for the players, officials and family members before agreeing to go back to that cesspool

Aye, as if there's no safety measures already in place. There's only so much you can do at an event like this. Edited September 28, 2025Sep 28 by faraway saint
