The sole purpose of VAR seems to be to cancel goals, give soft penalties and find a reason to give red cards. We played well for 75 minutes then fell apart but luckily held on. The disallowed goal is another joke. They seem to make up the rules every week.

Good game spoiled by a bad ref and VAR. Hearts look a decent team and sensed the points were up for grabs after Saints late second half usual collapse, but thankfully we held on . The real crime was the third goal being disallowed. For what ??? Anyway a draw was about right, so on to Saturday which will be another tough game.

Robbed by VAR. Definitely. I don't think Hearts would have had it in them to come back from two down.

VAR chalked off a "goal" for them, shouldn't be overlooked.

As for our "goal" I'll reserve judgement till I see it a hunner times on Sportscene which is just starting.

Their "goal" was definitely offside. And, if our goal, good goal, was given, I firmly believe we would have seen this out. I immediately agreed with VAR on the incidents v Aberdeen and saw some reasoning with the penalty v Utd but, on this occasion, we were probably cheated out of two points. And. Given the league position, the chasing pack should also be seething.

Nothing to disagree with there, last night was a travesty, no doubt.

Two points, almost certainly, taken away.

There are horrific VAR decisions EVERY week in Scottish football but disallowing the goal that would have put us 3-1 up must be the worst. It really is beyond belief. Cost us 2 points for sure.

Still thought that was our best performance of the season. For Saturday two changes for me. Richardson for McMenamin and Donnelly for Baccas.

Thought we would miss Gogic but we didnt as it brought extra pace to the back three. Motherwell have similar pace upfront to Hearts so I'd stick with Fraser, King and Freckleton.

However I have no doubt Robinson will choose Gogic over King.

It's a great pity the main talking point detracts from what was an excellent performance.

Our first goal was an outstanding piece of finishing.

Our 2nd was also a great finish.

Add in the chalked off goal, two brilliant headers from Phillips and we have a memorable game.

Anyhow, I'll get over it by the time I'm on my way to Hampden on Saturday. 🙄

I see theve  admitted our third goal should have stood.

I am not surprised. It was a dreadful decision. Given the score at the time, we were cheated out of two points. We seem to be in a cycle of swings and swings. Hopefully the roundabouts happen soon.

Should be a new rule every time var  f**ks up with a goal the team effected should be awarded 1 point if it's cost the win.

We would have been playing Champions' league for the past two seasons then.🤔
