But what's been proposed is hugely excessive. Since my season ticket holding father passed away in '22 I have to sort my own and do the 500 mile round trip as often as I can. 6-8 tickets would have been more than enough and 3 or 4 days up to Friday would have been more than enough time too. Must be hundreds like myself, not glory hunters turning up for 1 game but those who went home and away for 25 years but had to move away but even then make the journey home as often as they can. See above. The number for ST holders is to try to minimise the Celtic support getting their hand on tickets. Now that would be a real drama. Edited November 10 by faraway saint Quote

Those with previous purchases where they've travelled hundreds/thousands of miles spending a small fortune to back their team, all be it on a less regular basis but no less commitment, have been left high and dry. I absolutely agree that 20 tickets is excessive. Feck me. What sort of family do you have that you've got 19 family members who suddenly want to join the buds and sit beside you? 5 or six? Yes. If your buying for your family with STs then give their details and add the 5 or 6 after. I know, as a season ticket holder, I'll be absolutely disgusted if I'm left with sh!te seats because some have decided to buy 20 tickets for glory hunters. Quote

Jesus, the 20 is offered to allow as many St Mirren supporters who want to go to sit together. It's also, sigh, to reduce the chance of these tickets fall into the Celtic support. Oh, as for glory hunters, they made up the vast majority of the support at our last cup final. Plenty of people live many miles away can't have the luxury of living in the Paisley area which allows them to saunter along every 2 weeks. Quote

That's all well and good but, as far as I'm concerned, it could impact on those season ticket holders who want to get the chance of better viewing. For the semi final I think they started seating people at the centre, (Best view), and worked toward the end. IF, and I have to say it's a big if, some ST holders choose to uptake the 20 tickets for non ST holders then it wouldn't take much to reduce the chance of other season ticket fans getting those seats. As for the glory hunters. They can still get there. There will be plenty left. Quote

Would sir like a seat in tbe directors box or, if there is one, the Royal box? Your posts smack of entitlement. Quote

Seats round side for semi were immense and not just because of the superb views for the last 2 goals. Aside from this I agree, 20 tickets is a safeguarding exercise allowing as many true fans as possible and not Celtic fans. Besides ( and this is true for me, a former season ticket holder for years) most fans will know a season ticket holder and it is highly unlikely that many will go without a ticket either now or in general sale. I was behind the goals in 87, 2010 🙄 and 2013. Did it matter, not one bit. Quote

It didn’t matter although perhaps fortunately Kenny Miller’s header was way off in the distance. Bastards! Quote

Wait a minute.....𓉴 The view from the back at the corner is absolutely Sh!te. Anyway. I have my tickets. The seats were disappearing as I was trying to get 3 together but eventually managed it. Tickets? Check. Bus organised? Check. Now. If VAR were to break down on the day......... Edited November 11 by stlucifer Quote

Those with purchase history proof could have been included in this sale meaning those who make extreme efforts to make games from distance but can only do so 5 or 6 times a season could have been accomodated. I know what you’re saying, I’m one of those but happen to be mates with a season ticket holder. I’d imagine there will still be enough go around. Quote

Suddenly I'm just an outcast 🤣 It feels kind of rough that I'm behind season ticket holders friends who fancy a we day out when I think of the effort I've made to make games. Quote
E=Mc2 Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 My mate has bought the seats for our group. Has been able to pick the seats. Email confirmation received from St. Mirren is encouraging him to use the St. Mirren Ticket App. It looks like the tickets going to the Hampden app is not an option, unless someone wants to correct me. Does anyone know if he can distribute individual tickets from the St.Mirren app? Quote

faraway saint Posted November 11 Author Report Posted November 11 Over 5,000 tickets sold in 2 hours. Not bad. Well done the club making it fairly easy, disabled supporters unfortunately apart. Quote
