The number for ST holders is to try to minimise the Celtic support getting their hand on tickets.

Jesus, the 20 is offered to allow as many St Mirren supporters who want to go to sit together. 

It's also, sigh, to reduce the chance of these tickets fall into the Celtic support. 

Oh, as for glory hunters, they made up the vast majority of the support at our last cup final. 

Plenty of people live many miles away can't have the luxury of living in the Paisley area which allows them to saunter along every 2 weeks.

That's all well and good but, as far as I'm concerned, it could impact on those season ticket holders who want to get the chance of better viewing. For the semi final I think they started seating people at the centre, (Best view), and worked toward the end. IF, and I have to say it's a big if, some ST holders choose to uptake the 20 tickets for non ST holders then it wouldn't take much to reduce the chance of other season ticket fans getting those seats.

As for the glory hunters. They can still get there. There will be plenty left.

FFS, there's decent viewing from all over Hampden. 

Would sir like a seat in tbe directors box or, if there is one, the Royal box?

 Seats round side for semi were immense and not just because of the superb views for the last 2 goals.

Aside from this I agree, 20 tickets is a safeguarding exercise allowing as many true fans as possible and not Celtic fans.

Besides ( and this is true for me, a former season ticket holder for years) most fans will know a season ticket holder and it is highly unlikely that many will go without a ticket either now or in general sale.

2010/2013 I was behind the goals. 1987 in the family enclosure as it was then so looking from side on.  It didn’t matter although perhaps fortunately Kenny Miller’s header was way off in the distance. Bastards!

Anyway. I have my tickets. The seats were disappearing as I was trying to get 3 together but eventually managed it.

Tickets? Check. Bus organised? Check. Now. If VAR were to break down on the day.........

How many of them could prove from purchase history that they'd been to St Mirren games over the past few seasons.
Those with purchase history proof could have been included in this sale meaning those who make extreme efforts to make games from distance but can only do so 5 or 6 times a season could have been accomodated.

I don't sadly have that. It was always my Dad who went every week that I would go with for 47 years.

Has been able to pick the seats.

Email confirmation received from St. Mirren is encouraging him to use the St. Mirren Ticket App.

It looks like the tickets going to the Hampden app is not an option, unless someone wants to correct me.
