We got a victory against Falkirk at the Falkirk Stadium which a lot of people wouldn't have expected us to have got given how this season has gone for both clubs.

Aberdeen FC, as is the norm in recent years, lost once again in Glasgow.

This is a big match for both clubs.  Both need a win to keep away from the play-off against the Championship team and we'll have Mr. Stephen Robinson coming to visit us as Aberdeen manager.

Let's get behind the players and whatever management team we have in place and send our former Mr. Robinson back up the road with "nul point".

Come on you Saints!

Looking forward to this, tickets secured early as this may well be a full house.

I hope we welcome Robinson for the outstanding work he done with us, but beyond that, that’s where the pleasantries end.

Fully expect us to win this.

Saints 2-1 Aberdeen

I think it's almost certain to be sold out mate.

Both sets of supporters know how important this game is and will turn up in big numbers, despite the lowly league positions.

A cracking atmosphere and fingers crossed we get off to a fast start. 🤞

Aberdeen normally sell out regardless but like you say, really should be a great atmosphere and I hope as you say we take the game to them from the start

Really looking forward to it

Reading some of the "burn the witch" posts over on Facebook, where being an idiot is, on the whole, a pre requisite, suggests Robinson will get a mixed reception.

The utter made up shite on Facebook, being lapped up by the simpletons (about half the users), is eye watering.

Anyhow, whatever reception he gets the atmosphere throughout the game will be at fever pitch.

My prediction, lots is swearing. 🤣

I won't be abusing him from the terraces. I don't see the point. He did well for us and he left for a bigger club with a bigger budget and a bigger pay packet. Neither will I be heralding him as he left us in a very precarious position. He is the manager of our opposition and, as such, I will be there to support OUR management and our team.

Plenty will.

The normal level of sweary words will, IMO, rise to a new level.

I'm certainly of your opinion that he in no way whatsoever deserves unwarranted abuse.

It'll be mixed as there's still a decent amount of the support who'll see it for what it was, an easy decision for him and we, as a club, will go on without him but will recognise what he gave us.

Roll on 4th April. 🍿 🍿 🍿

He’ll get dogs abuse

It's ironic people whining about Robinson’s lack of loyalty yet will be shouting abuse, instantly writing off the best period most supporters have had in their lifetime. 🙄

I don't mind him going ( thought he was done with us anyway) and I enjoyed Europe and Cup Final win. However on April 4 he and his team are the enemy in a relegation battle and I hope the atmosphere is as hostile as we have seen at St Mirren Park.

Agreed. Wouldn’t be booing him, a legend. King is dead , long live the King (whoever he may be).

As I said, there's a considerable amount of level headed supporters.

Cheers. 👍

I hope we are right up for this because by all accounts Aberdeen are desperate for it to come around.

Of course they would be. As will we. An ex manager adds spice for both teams. It remains to be seen if McLeish will have the measure of Robinson. SR obviously knows plenty about the players so it will be interesting to see how McLeish sets them up. From the first couple of outings it's obvious he has a different philosophy.

Massive game for us on Saturday, Killy away to Hibs, Dundee home to green bigots, 3 points could be massive, and if the other games go our way another 2 teams dragged into the mix

Aye, another massive game with even more to come.

If we get the win we'd go into the double header with Celtic on a high.

First things first, let's beat Aberdeen.

Confident is not a word I would associate with St Mirren. Our arses will collapse as usual.

You're the last person on earth that's in a position to be taken seriously. 😂😂😂

Got to give you credit, there's been some wallopers on this forum but your the best. 👏👏👏

Here's your words of wisdom about the Falkirk game. 🤡
