faraway saint Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 After the, overall, excellent performance of the Scottish Cup we should be right up for this. Only 5 games to go, it's very tight and every point could be crucial. We're at him against the bottom side, none of this "I'd take a point" shite, three points is expected. Quote
elvis Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Hope we see the team that scared the shit out of celtic for 50 minutes against Livy . Quote

fmckinn Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 Really need to win this , officially relegate Livvy,in the other 2, utd win and Dons draw would put us above Dundee on goals and a point behind Aberdeen , and 4 points above Killy. Quote

I'd like to think the club have been exploring any possibilities since Sunday. Not ideal at this critical time of the season. Surely anybody has to be better than Mullen? Quote

Yes he got caught in possession against Celtic, he'll learn from it. Way to early to be trashing Mullen as he has hardly played for the club. Quote
Swiss_Saint Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 To be fair to Mullen I thought he was decent when I saw him play ( aside from Sunday obviously) Quote

If you look back to the start of the season when he was being touted there was little support and mostly concern. The outpouring of sympathy has overshadowed him being a bench warmer. Quote
fmckinn Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 With both Mullen and George out Injured will the club bring in an emergency loan keeper. Lot of pressure to put on young Grants shoulders Quote

Overall I'm not keen on sticking a teenager in for the critical league games but if it was a certainty it was only two matches it might well be as good an option that we have. Quote
lenziebud Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 If we don't bring in a emergency goalkeeper then what happens if you young lad gets injured against Livi. Fairly sure the club will bring in somebody ? Quote

rabuddies Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 If the young lad is forced by rules to play on Saturday, what do these same rules say about who we can put on the bench? Quote
fmckinn Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 According to the Sun, Ross Sinclair from St Johnstone Quote

Nothing else for it, support the guy and hope he settles quickly as the stakes are very high for us. Quote

He did enough on Sunday and Gogic and Freckleton there to pass on direction. Quote

You can look at it two ways. Done OK in normal time. Not so great in extra time. My monet is on we'll go with the on loan keeper. Quote

I think the defence shielded him brilliantly during the 90 minutes, he’s one for the future and fair play to him Mullen will not play again and will not be on the books come the new season We most definitely require the loan keeper as it’s too much responsibility for the young keeper just now We must win our home games Quote
eastlandssaint Posted April 23 Report Posted April 23 Ross Sinclair joins on seven-day emergency loan Quote
pondsman Posted April 24 Report Posted April 24 Good to see the emergency keeper coming in. Just hope he can settle into the side quickly. Of the 5 games left, Livi is one of the 'must win's in my opinion. Putting Tamevicius in again was not really an option. Fair play to the youngster, he did OK against Celtic, but he still had 5 goals put past him. He'll need some time to get over that.. Buddies 2-0 Livi COYS!! Quote
