Not the time to knicker wet before a ball is kicked I agree, the three signed so far are pretty much what Lasley/McLeish indicated they were after - early-mid 20s looking to kickstart their careers with us. This is nowhere near the eccentric bunch of signings Stubbs made. As you say plenty of time yet and I'm looking forward to the mad speculation that heralds the last week of the transfer window already.
