So, fingers crossed, we get a win we then head to Ibrox with a decent run of form (only losing 1 from the last 5 mainly down to a shit referee) and are currently 7/1 to win that one.

Anyhow, first things first, St Mirren 3-1 St Johnstone.

St Johnstone supporting mate is feeling quite confident, surprising as last time I messaged him he was feeling very gloomy about the season ahead.

He's coming down to Paisley on Friday, making a weekend of it.

His prediction, St Mirren 1-2 St Johnstone.

Last time I met up with him Arbroath pumped his lot 3-1, told him it'll be the same on Saturday.

Not the best joke ever, I'd go with...

Boy turns 30....Meal, drinks and a spit-roasting for Fiona...and Gers are in crisis 😄

Should be a decent game. Will be interesting to see how we are if we have to force the game. Falkir k can at us last week which suits our style. Interesting to see how we go if we have to make the play.

I think this game will be a better gauge of where we are under our new regime. It looks, on the surface, like it would be a basketball game but I hope we defend well and are a little pragmatic without going into our shell.

1 change from last week. Fieldson goes to the bench for Declan.

Declan is a good player, but I wonder about changing a winning teM.

So far not seen anything to suggest we are not going to be in big bother this season it's heart in the mouth stuff at the back so far.

Half time, 0-0.

St Mirren definitely looked the more likely to break the deadlock but no. Playing a lot of good stuff, but a few goalie short passes were worrying; sometime a big toe-ender might be better. Looking forward to the second half.

We have been the better team so far so if we are in big bother Falkirk and St.Johnstone are totally screwed, keep taking the happy pills mate they may work one day
