I'll have you know I'm a young hippy Sid!

Doubt you'll think much of these latest choices either then.

1. Down By The River - Neil Young

2. Idiot Wind - Bob Dylan

3. Ogdens Nut Gone Flake - Small Faces

4. Artificial Energy - The Byrds

5. Frog Chorus - Paul McCartney

Stand down Margaret..................

The Beat are playing The Garage tonight along with Bad Manners.

Mind you Faithless and Mylo are in a double whammy at the Exhibition Centre.

Oh, and some English blokes are indulging in some ultra-rapid acoustic guitar abuse about Irish politics in front of a load of drunkenly deluded Weegie soapdodging sectarian bigots at the Carling Academy lead by a walking pint of Guinness whose teeth have fallen out. BOY I'm glad I've never been to see them (note to Reidy: NOT Van the Man's former band).

All good apart from the obvious. The Neil Young Fan Club frequents the Farmer John thread on the nightshift. :D

*gasp* Alison by Elvis Costello has just come on. OH what a fine piece of work that is!

Quite- watching the detectives is also quite magnificent.

In fact old Declan is one of our finest lyricists.

If you get a chance listen to some of his more recent work- "When I was cruel"is especially fine.

BTW HHiBS- who was entertaining the Bhigots?
