DongaTon
I use Kazaa LITE. Doesn't have the spyware that normal Kazaa has, supposedly. Lots of users and easy to use.
Stu
Disgraceful behaviour, downloading music Cannae download Kazaa Lite anymore without paying for it
prov
You could try: Overnet or DC++, both free to download.
Tom McB
Kazaa lite is pain in the ass. The baby McBs have it on their machines- watch out for spyware. Install webroot spysweeper- does the biz. Also many contemporary tracks are f@cked versions spread by record companies. Older stuff like Dylan, springsteen etc is OK.

Mr Clueless
I use WinMX - pretty good for music, can't find anything better myself!! You could always use Diet K, which is an add-on for Kazaa Media Desktop - but it removes all the spyware and adware rubbish that Kazaa installs by default. div
I buy CD's from play.com myself
DongaTon
I buy CD's from play.com myself Don't do that - they're the American versions and the playlistings frequently differ from the proper UK/European releases. The best online music retail site by far is 101cd.com They have taken a fortune from me so they have. CD Wow is also good. Play is good for DVDs and games. CD Wow is also good. Play is good for DVDs and games. Never had a problem with play, but some of the CD Wow discs I have bought in the past won't rip onto my MP3 jukebox as they are copy protected. Play has faster delivery than CD-Wow - but will have a look at 101cd.com
DongaTon
Check it out mate, though watch with the delivery charges, the only draw-back. Play may be cheaper in some circumstances there. But as for selection, and if you wanna extend your back catalogue with "classic" albums, they are unbeatable...perhaps CD Wow and Play could be better for newer releases, but check it out. Stu
Can't be bothered posting it all again but Usenet is definitely the way to download mp3s.Search through my posts and you'll find all the info I posted a while ago. Tom, do you know of any handy Newsnet tracker websites? I used to use http://www.nfonews.com/ but it hardly gets updated anymore. Very handy sites as well. Know of any alternatives?
