Thorizaar
Yet again you surprise me with even more bands I've never heard of Thor. Thanks. I think!! For info: MDB - tremendous band from Yorkshire with a sublime mix of misery and beauty in their music. Supported Iron Maiden on the X Factour circa1995-6 Rhapsody - Italian kind of orchestral/operatic metal band. Christopher Lee and Susannah York have provided spoken word parts on their recent albums. Xasthur - american black metal band who churn out albums regularly that sound like they were recorded in a dustbin. Wonderful! Sorgsvart - hadn't heard of them until last week myself either! Manegarm - Swedish folkish metal. Album mentioned is acoustic folk. Played at Oran Mor last year. All in all, perhaps not quite as obscure and unheard of as first impressions might give.
