Bloomsbury Bud
La Haine was thoroughly brilliant, as was 'Irrevesible' which if you've not see - you should. However 'Irrevesible' is not for the ladies.

Wilbur
Going back a long way (aye black & white) but a couple of crackers :- Rififi (not sure of the spelling, but amazing stuff with no absolutely dialogue in the film for ages during the bank robbery). Rothesay Saint
Couldn't name five foreign films, even if I thought really hard. I did see Ameilie (or however it is spelled) last week, and thought it was fantastic though.
Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
Das Boot is feckin' excellent. There's another German one about two very unassuming young lads keeping a family in a hostage/torture predicament (starts when one of them turns up wearing rubber gloves and asking to borrow six eggs). Cannae mind the name but it's very good. However. Only one mention of Betty Blue??? Flippin' 'eck!!! Superb film. Well, superb opening thirty seconds anyway. Oh aye, and Subway isnae too bad either. Tom McB
The last furrin lingo film I saw, at Christmas was a belter When the last sword is drawn. Utter cracker. A good review
chingford
When the last sword is drawn.Utter crapper. Got to agree - these foreign language films are really boring. Who wants to watch someone drawing any number of swords (never mind a last one!) whether it's with charcoal, a pencil, pen or even lipstick? What's the point? It would be like watching paint dry.
