I've been using leech ftp (developed by a german lad) for a few years now - on a couple of websites. Free, easy to download/install... AND IT WORKS FINE.

Though if you google for 'LEECH FTP' he says it's not been updated for a few years and he's working on a bigger, better version. (Have a look, there.)

Leech, however, does continue to give perfectly good results.

(a caveat: I can't make Leech work for the websites I run with files held under aol. AOL is just a very awkward bugger... :angry: )

Depends what FTP your talking about, the kind i'm talking about or HSS's kind.  :rolleyes:

FTP - File Transfer Protocol.

It's the software you use to load up files you've created on your computer onto the www (often to lodge on the server of the company who provide your net link) - so that other people can access them.
