Bloomsbury Bud
I'll guess you are a youngster, but the Northbank's repertoire used to be much wider and wittier than it is today. On the subject of singing at Saints matches my old boy told me the first time he heard a chorus from the Saints fans was at the 59 semi final demolition of Celtic - fittingly it was 'When the Saints' From my Northbank days I always especially enjoyed 'Forever and ever ....' or 'We'll f*%k you at home and we'll f*%k you away....' Herbie
1999 - 2000 game v Dungfermline - "Campbell, Campbell sit on yer arse". Class. I also agree the older stuff was much funnier and better than this new pish. Seems to turn into a competition each week to see who can invent the "most hilarious" song. Rubbish. Thorizaar
also the first goal was scored by Gunni.............. fantastic. 176995[/snapback] A bit of a silly song in my opinion. Crowing about a great victory 15 years ago is a bit daft and more often than not it's sung by people who quite clearly weren't at the game!!! Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
Another clasic. From last the cup game against Hamilton in January. To the tune of Tom Hark:- Brian McPhee, You're a wánk, Brian McPhee, You're a wánk. Simple, to the point, politically correct and 100% true.
