    I was v frustrated to lose to them. They are going nowhere they are at the level they should be at. They won't make the premier league anytime soon. We really need to be beating teams like this

    Footaball's finances, in the scottish game are based on La-La land economics. SG and the others want out. THis will cause structural problems.

    I don't say this with malice, but I believe it to be an honest appraisal of where you are at.

    Y'see.... THIS is the flaw with Morton being deemed worthy of consideration.

    A local derby, in its way but only relevant, once again, cos St Mirren have been shite, have been relegated and are again butting up against such wee diddy teams.

    Always worth remembering that Dame Fortuna humbles the mighty and elevates the lowly. As things stand St Mirren must now be considered a diddy team.

    Club needs selling, otherwise next up is just a bit part player in a feckin British b movie. Joke is well and truly on us now.

    I'd commend Morton on that result today. Feel good factor there to be enjoyed. I believe you actually should have won in that bear pit today.

    Thanks for the thought on the result. not in great nick and have seen few games this season.

    In terms of seeling, mibbies, imo most clubs need something like the Hearts models. Can't be convinced that wealthy Chairmen, no matter how benevolent are the way forward.

    I know that seems pessimistic but i'm old and have seen to much shite happen.

    I hope the saints do well, I hope the derbies continue and that fitba gets on to a proper financial footing.

    I don't know if this is typical but my son is encouraged to write mini-reports on books he has read by his school's English Department. At the start of the current term he asked if the school could borrow my copy of Lord of the Flies.

    For the record I said yeah they could have it and just to keep it.

    Hello again Bud, I finally hung up my chalk last year but have seen school budgets shrink steadily over the last 8-ish years due to the Scottish government's freeze on council tax.
