For you iPod doubters... the sound quality can be almost as good as a CD, but when you arr out and about the quality is easily good enough, miles better than a walkman for example! you are not actually listening in a perfect acoustic environment..... I have got most of my CD collection on my iPod, and I've listened to stuff I've ignored for years this alone makes it worth its weight in gold, its a brilliant invention.. another bonus as I spend 60% of my life away from home... its not practical to carry around 100's of CD plus a stereo system now is it ...?
Buy one ...

Beatrice Dalle you mean, I wouldn't describe her as a wifie, abouts as far removed from that as possible.... That film had the best start to any film .... Beatrice Dalle was just gorgeous one of my all time favourite films... very sad in the end.

You need to get a broadband wireless router, like the DLINK DSL-G604T, your laptop will have a built in wireless receiver. You might have to get a PCi Wireless card or a USB wireless receiver for the Desktop.
The DLINK is very easy to set up, you simply connect a cable from your broadband into the Router and then configure it. The router also has standard ethernet ports which you can connect a PC to, you will get better performance using direct network cable connection than using wireless. I'd STRONGLY reccomend encrypting your connections using WEP as this will stop others getting free and easy access to your internet connection.
The manual is well written so if you are at all PC savvy you will have no problems.
I've installed loads of these DLINKS and had no issues with them at all.

Try Audacity.. link here its open source and very simple to use.
I guess you will need the mp3 add-in though.

1) Jag S Type R ... Quite Nippy
2) Alfa Romeo 155 V6 ... Quite Nippy, Had it for 7 years, never broke down, always started first time. Used to use up tyres and shite in the snow.
3) Lancia Monte Carlo ... I cried when I sold it... I wish I kept it ...
4) Innocenti Mini , Bertone styled Italian built hatch on a Mini chassis looked cool, but combined the worst of english engineering and italian electrics... disaster!
5) Austin Maxi 1500 -- first car , gearbox blow up at 70 mph on my way to see Nazareth at the Glasgow Apollo 1978 ... The gig was superb though, the 140 miles tow back to Aberdeen not so much fun!

Well that makes more sense.. the references I'd seen were to Nietzsche , but perhaps they were ironic.... maybe like the original art work on my walls "in the style of" van Gogh ... etc...

It was a quote from Nietzsche .... Made me laugh it was so miserable.... Just like the old guy I met one morning ... It was a beautiful sunny day in Inverbervie (a rare event!) and I said to him "What a beautiful morning" He just scowled and said "We will pay for it later"... Just summed up that miserable calvenistic spirit that resides deep down in all Scots! ...
The odd thing was ... he was right it rained later on... I hope it made him happy.Cheers

Could have added many others but all the above I have read many times and never get tired of them...
Of the recent books I've read I think Birdsong was the best, and Brookmyres stuff is excellent.

Inneresting .... yes I found that REALLY annoying, in fact the author style was trying too hard, but all the info about Neil made up for it... After finishing it I got the urge to buy a big train set! inneresting eh?
Saw him play once at the SECC, with Booker T backing excellent Gig!

The man is a genius... Has anyone read the biography called Shakey? Well worth buying. A bit of an odd ball good old Neil....
I like the Clash... a lot... not keen on the Pistols always felt they were more like the Bay City Rollers and as for the Boomtown Rats they were more like Mud...
What about the Darkness? feckin s***e I reckon, another record company plastic band.... Their 15 Minutes of fame is nearly over ....
Now a real rock n' roll hero is playing at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen on 6th March.. Elvis Pressley original guitar player Scotty Moore... not often you get a chance to see someone like that play I reckon...

Ian Hunter... a big hero of my mate Jim, we took the trip from Aberdeen down to Newcastle to see the Ian Hunter Band with the aforementioned Vibrators as support. 1977 or 78...
On arrival in Newcastle we went to check out where the venue was, and when we found it went inside as it was open. After mooching about a bit the band shuffled on stage to do the soundcheck...! So we sat down and listened, I think he had "Ariel Bender" on guitar at the time. Anyways after the soundcheck we went up for a chat, my mate Jim was so hero struck he couldn't speak!! Anyway Ian turned out to be one of the nicest guys I've met he took us backstage and gave us some beers, let us play the guitars, signed autographs and insisted on getting us on the guest list!! So we got in free.
After the gig which was superb (btw) we got to go backstage again and both ended up getting off with a couple of groupies!

Vibrators? I saw them once ... 1977 proabably supporting Ian Hunter at the Mayfair Ballroom in Newcastle... they were fecking awful!! I mean truely bad... The Clash I saw 3 times and they were magnificent...
I got the History of the Calsh Volume 1 for 2 euros in a local charity shop... a bargain hunters wee gem...
