we know who he is, thanks
The point of the stats was merely to point out his inexperience in management. But perhaps that was indeed beyond you Ken!

SHULL....... Taxi for Murray

Then you are voting to continue our club's demise. I suppose if your happy with things thats your choIce.
Excuse me Sir. Who the feck made you Lord of the bloody manner.Or of SMP for that matter. Is your telly on the blink? Coming on here writing your pish!
Listen you here to me pal. Out of every thing that has been written on here from manager wish lists, to how shite the BOD are, from, has our club been sold to How shite our new ground is....and the only reply we get from our great chairman is a fecking POLL ON SUMMER FOOTBALL.. If you honestly think whatever is written on here will influence any decisions made at our club, then you are sad and deluded. But I suspect your telly is indeed on the blink and you have bugger all to do but stay on here writing drivel.
Have a good day.

At first glance i thought Kylie Minogue had croaked it. Surely you should be in general nonsense LPM!

Levein and smart are not two words that accompany each other. Levein and 4-6-0 go together. Levein is a dumpling so it should work with Miller as Director of Football no problem.
-
Stuart,
If he is that prolific, how come he keeps being released? (just asking like).

Jack Ross? Another rookie? We need a manager who has a proven track record. Someone with knowledge of the game and is tactically aware.Jack may be a good addition to the coaching team, but manager? I think not.

It was 30 years ago. The club as it is now bears virtually no resemblance to what is was back then.
Really? If you believe that then fine. I on the other hand think there is no difference! No forward thinking, no long term planning, consistent poor appointments... the list could and would go on and on. I would go as far to say that the clubs philosophy hasn't changed from as far as I have supported them and that's over 40 years!

Whatever Alex Millers role at the club, I wish him all the best. Being with us previously he will be under no illusions regarding the workings/failings of St.Mirren. Onwards and upwards then..... COYS.

In the name of God!! It isn't the fault of an assistant manager if the team, tactics, selections etc are pure rank rotten. First and foremost its the bloody manager. Seems Spalding is a bit of a scapegoat here. Oh well. Here's to yet another shitty appointment whoever it may be.

Rather than Ian Murray Will Come Good the title of the thread should have asked Will Ian Murray Come Good? And the unfortunate answer would Seem to be a resounding NO. He has shown absolutely nothing to show he has what it takes to run our club.

This season has been an absolute disgrace! Ian Murray is clearly out of his depth running our club. Nothing seems to add up with the guy. Odd team selections, tactics, lack of continuity... For Christ sake he waited months for Shankland and he sits on his arse!!! He claims McMullen will light up the Championship! Where from the fecking bench? I was full of hope for this season. We have a decent squad of players, who should be good enough to challenge for a play off spot at the very least. My hope now is that we manage to stay up!

Murray being interviewed by Graham Spiers ........
-
Top quality at what. His distribution is pish and makes so many mistakes
Can honestly say langfeild has made far more mistakes than ridgers ever
Absolute nonsense.
-
Aw behave yourself. He is a top class 'keeper. If it was a deflection then everything would have been ok then? Bollox!! St.Mirren as a TEAM have been making mistakes all bloody season. Manager and players. I think we are getting there, but there is still a long way to go. COYS

Murray talking on BT Sports now...........Talking pure PISH !!!!

Looking at our squad, there's no doubt in my mind we should be winning games in this league. My prediction was 2nd place. I think it's going to be a long hard season with us finishing in mid table. We took far too long to assemble our squad and we're still fannying about with it!
-
QOTS big favourites today. Would take a point, another defeat would be pretty soul destroying but i guess that's the most likely result.
Says a lot about where we are that I'll be looking out for the Livi and the Alloa score in the hope that we don't end the day bottom...
Betvictor has us down as a 1-1 draw.

Ross & Miller To Save The Season!
in General St. Mirren Discussion
Posted
I'd rather say eff all in your 'debate' than say the first two names that come into my head. St.Mirren are crying out for a MANAGER, not a novice. These young coaches need to gain experience with lower league teams in management. I don't understand where this obsession with Jack Ross came from. Its not as though he was any more than an average footballer anyway.
Div has hinted at Gus coming back. The stats show that he has been our most successful manager in half a century. It is beyond me why he had to go. He would be a good shout. Paul Lambert is out of work. He might be used to the big wage, but something perhaps the lure of helping his old team?
If not Gus or Paul, then take your pick from the many Scottish managers out of work.............
