If the betfred cup did not having fans worried then Aberdeen and Livingston should. The fact we did not have one shoot on target in 90 min tells it's own story.

Recruitment is shambolic now a story with Smith has arisen.

You have our Captain speaking out about signings of players not having game time.

What do you want to do carry on we go adrift early with no way back .

Alan Stubbs has a job to do, successfully manage our club. He NEEDS time to do that.

My God man. It was only 18 days ago you were singing the mans praises !!!

I really like Stubbs he is not for beating about the bush the man is a straight talker. We wont always have the ball on Sunday , when we do the passing has to be right and we attack,

    Game plan counter attack.

We all know when it shuts. However,  it seems our preferred targets have largely signed for other clubs or stayed where they are.  So, on the balance of probabilities and based on the signings to -date,  it appears to have been a sub optimal window for Alan and his team and us. This likely outcome may be a good starting point for GLS to evaluate. Alan seemed to have made good signings for Hibs. Was that down to him or did he have help? If he had help then get that guy in or provide help in some other way before January. Darren and Pat are not Alan's usual team. Maybe that needs looked at?

    Who's Pat?

  3. Regrettably letting Tony anywhere near the business side of things is guaranteed to be a failure. Never understood why we appointed a chief exec who clearly does not have any qualities for that role. I know he loves the club. So do I but I wouldn't be able to do the chief exec job. Frankly I find his ridiculous comments embarrassing. I wonder if the length of contract Stubbs  has was Tony's doing.  Presumably GLS is able to curb Tony's excesses. I certain ly hope so

  4. A lot of common sense there Ricky. Very quickly you know you have a leader. Stubbs weakness to me seems organization and recruitment  key elements for a football manager. To have that problem so early is a real worry. The board have made a costly mistake that they can ill afford to fix due to financial constraints.  If Cammy Smith goes and replacements are not as good the house will come tumbling down. To think last seasons team has been dismantled that brought so much joy is unavailable. That team should have been tinkered with season pros.

I’ve lost count IBOS, remind me how many times is that you’ve turned? 🤪
  5. If Cammy Smith leaves, Stubbs can get to f**k as far as I'm concerned.
With the possible exception of Willock, none of Stubbs's players are better than Cammy.
It's not even as if he's got a fixed system that just happens to not work with a number 10 - he just doesn't have a fixed system at all.
I am so f**king disappointed with this.
(Weirdly, Goodwin would be better off taking the job now than two months ago, because at least expectations have been tempered now.)

Goodwin was sounded out but didn’t want the gig. He wanted to finish what he started at Alloa.
  6. As always the good players we want go elsewhere , and we end up with the relegation fodder donkeys. Thank the Lord I decided against an ST in the summer .

Aye thank the Lord indeed. Who the fIk would want to sit next to a miserable moaning bas every fortnight!!

    OPINION

Hodson has never really had much of a chance at Ibrox, with just 27 appearances across all competitions since he was signed by Mark Warburton over two years ago. However he hasn’t had much of a chance because he is not at all good – and as one fan points out “truly awful”. The Northern Ireland international is now in the final year of his contract and this loan deal effectively means that St Mirren are paying a chunk of his wages before he is free to leave Ibrox. It’s a good piece of business by Steven Gerrard and Mark Allen, who have probably struggled to arouse any serious interest in the player for a permanent deal. These Gers fans seem happy that he is going anyway, with some of them suggesting that his move away from Govan has been well overdue. It should have happened last year but Pedro Caixinha’s squad management will no doubt go down as one of the worst in Ibrox history.
