  1. We can look at things how we choose to. In Ross's first season he almost relegated us, we survived by a goal. Now if you choose to call that successful and ignore the string of losses, poor performances, dud signings etc  he presided over thats your choice. He took us down to darker places before this winning season. Its right to judge people on their overall performance.
as a side note their are supporters of a number of championship clubs who feel Ross basically bought the title, and when player wages are recorded in the next accounts I am sure we will be the either top or second biggest spenders for this seadon gone.
people like you actually asking like a spoiled child for people with differing opinions to be banned really sums you up to a tee.

Dundee United will have spent the most, by a huge margin, IMO.

I would also hazard a guess that Falkirk were the next biggest spenders.

I reckon we would have been the 3rd biggest spenders.

As Falkirk were out of the picture, Dundee United were shit and we had the best player, Lewis Morgan, then I would say that winning the Championship was expected. If we’d finished behind Livingston then it would have been a failure IMO.
  2. Ross now 3/1 for the Sunderland job. Having my own business and employing a few staff if I had this staff member who is very good would I want this constant I'm going here there everywhere . No you need a stable business to move forward not the constant try this one the next one , have decided to stay oh got another offer. Jack needs to be honest with himself and his employees.  If course he wants to better himself yes we want keep him. There should be a bottom line we need to plan for the season ahead nobody should be bigger than the club. Understand compassion can help us but surly we need to look after our own house.

Said employee of yours would be going for these jobs without you knowing about it though, so it’s an invalid comparison.
  3. Is it?
Aren't you always banging on about how attendances are back up in the top flight over the last coupla seasons - Celtic would've been weaker without Rangers.
Oldco staying out of business would've been good for Scottish football in the long run.

As you imply, the end of Rangers would have meant the end of Celtic as a giant club. They would have withered.

It would have been great for the remainder of Scottish football.

If Jack feels right with your chairman he will sign that is one of his key factors. Also he will go through the contract with a fine tooth comb. Word up here was that the anouncment would be Weekend/ Monday.

Cheers. I think the one thing our chairman has is that, whilst we may not have a shed load of cash, you'll certainly get time to build something here, which Ross seems to fit the criteria. With regards to dithering, I just mean that in the past, we've had plenty of players at the club, with the pen literally in their hand to sign the contract, only for us to miss out on them - Charlie Austin is a prime example.

Suppose we'll have to see how the weekend goes!

Wouldn't listen to a word that IOBS posts. He listens to the voices in his head.

Drew and Pozbaird, the two biggest abusers on the Forum. They just don't like contrary opinion. Poz has fecked off in the huff again after another poster correctly answered him back.

    Cowardly bullies.

    And untouchable on here.

Pozbaird hasn't been seen since his racist joke on the hackers thread.

  6. Murphy moves to a bigot club and bang he's in the team
Stevenson is a bizarre one. LB is the one position Scotland actually has good options, he won't ever get in ahead of Robertson, Tierney and Douglas. Totally pointless. Perhaps none of their clubs were willing to release their players for this?

They’d have been calling up Joe Bryan of Bristol City for left back

McLeish names 7 uncapped players, plenty new faces for the friendlies against Peru & Mexico.

    Good on him.

    Jamie Murphy? Really?

    Souttar from Hearts?

    Stevenson is 30 FFS!

Would be good to see how Archer, Hendry, McKenna, McTominay & McBurnie do though. Could be the backbone for years to come.

I suspect that the club built the stadium with all the facilities that could be provided within the constraints of the Tesco deal.

Indeed, in addition to paying off £3 million of debt and building training facilities.

StuD doesn't know how much money was available for non match revenue generating facilities.

His own master plan was for the club to build a running track!
