Another Saints fan has a comedy show at the Fringe, it's on at a different time to the one above so why not see both!

MATT WINNING: CLIMATE STRANGE
- Thursday, August 2, 2018-Sunday, August 26, 2018 5:00 PM -6:00 PM
- Just the Tonic at The Mash House37 Guthrie Street Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 1JGUnited Kingdom
£5 or Pay What You Want
Dr Matt Winning is thinking about starting a family but wonders if he should. A show about why our knowledge about climate change doesn't necessarily match our actions. As seen as the Environmental Correspondent on Unspun with Matt Forde on Dave. ‘Winning’s sharp wit and intelligence allows him to educate as he entertains’ ****½ (Sunday Post). ‘A very powerful and eccentric piece of comedy from Winning, who is sure to become one of the largest names in UK comedy very soon’ **** (ShortCom.co.uk).
Brilliant. I'll go and see this after my own show. Great news.

I'm travelling over from Singapore to perform at this year's Fringe Festival. I've supported St Mirren my whole life.
If you are planning to come to the fest, pop in and say hello. My show is on the Free Fringe - you only pay what you think it is worth on the way out. Tales of growing up in Erskine and life abroad and, if you let me know you're there, how I became a Bud.
More about it here - The Secret Diary of Scott Mitchell aged 43 3/4
Hope to see you there.

Am I right in thinking that no team with more than 40 points has ever gone down in the new format (I know we went down with 41 in the old system)?
50+ points guarantees us top 6?
Which one is the target for the new manager in 2018/19?

If Jack swoops in for John McGinn and Kyle McGennis that's potentially another couple of million in the war chest on top of the chunks of cash already banked for winning the Championship and selling Morgan, Mallan and McAllister. Saints are loaded! Where should the Club invest? Exclusively in a big name manager and a decent budget to build a first team to survive in the top flight or in the Academy including getting back our elite status to keep the conveyor belt of talent coming through?
So when this all happens, besides Celtic, will we be the only team in the SPL with a positive bank balance?

Only get to 5 or 6 home games a season but still buy my season ticket, won't give up my season ticket though. It's my way of still feeling part of St.Mirren wether I am there or not
What is the expected price of the Premiership season tickets? Will there be restrictions if we advance in the cup or will we remain good guys? Based on a likely increase of pay at the gate prices - How many games will be break even on a season ticket?

They already do. They have addresses on file.
I've been out of Scotland for nearly 25 years. Down south and now in Singapore - always signed up for the clubs new idea for overseas fans and still receive nothing.
Most recently was contacted by the Uni to do a survey regarding St Mirren TV. Besides that I think I remember an email from Norrie about 10 years ago.

I know one other St Mirren supporter here in Singapore and there are rumours of a third.
Happy to catch up in Hong Kong when I'm visiting.

Searching for the video of Gaz Top (Gareth Jones) wearing a St Mirren scarf on Get Fresh.

Jack and Victor would enhance the current squad.
How about Torfasson and Victor - that could be a helluva management team.

Time for an overseas fundraising trip perhaps? I never got any further info on how to get involved with Plan A. Perhaps that will change now with Plan B.
Sorry, just read the tweets - now that we are on to Plan C perhaps I'll hear something.

Chalmers was on not that much money and was a 10 goal a season premier league player. He was replaced by Torfason who was on a much bigger wage and was still a ten goal a season striker.
I seem to remember the reports of the day saying Torfason was being paid 350 a week and his mortgage was paid by the club too - oh the glamour of the Premier League!! (that was double what he was getting from previous his club with the mortgage paid on top).

Many thanks Ching !!! It's a great help
