  1. I agree that some of Kello's shot stopping was superb but he worries me with his tendency to not actually catch the ball. We've lost a few goals due to him parrying the ball straight to the opposition and there are at least two occasions in last night's highlights where the same could have happened. I'd still give Ridgers a go. Don't want to detract from a great point earned though.

  2. We are looking to recruit a part time chef as two of our staff head off to uni. If anyone knows of an experienced cook/chef looking for part time work (minimum 2 days per week) PM me. Looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Cheers folks.

  3. I will continue to go basically because my season ticket is bought and paid for but if I didn't have one and my pal had phoned me to say do you want to pay £20 to go and see Saints today I'd have said no, I said this prematch.

Same. Missed the Dungfermline match for the same reason. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to get enthusiastic about matches these days. The whole club just has a kind of stale feeling to it just now for me.

  4. Sad day when the only maturity shown in the team was from a young boy on loan. Plummer truly is a class act but he must be wondering what he's let himself in for.

That was absolutely awful. Glaringly obvious that we need Goodwin playing every week and I get the fear when the squad's so thin that Thomas Reilly gets a game. Play like that and the terrible twins will tear us a new one a week on Saturday. At least TC admitted we were pish.

  5. A massive thanks to Poz. The framed pic of the Welsh boys is excellent and will be on the wall as soon as i get round to buying a nail. Sorry I didn't get time to have a proper blether but I'm sure you appreciate that we were mobbed and I was running about like Alex Williams at last orders in Ladbrokes. Cheers Bud. :-)

  6. We were powderpuff in attacking areas today , if we were still playing now we still wouldn't have scored , very worrying.

Callum Murray is past his sell-by date I'm afraid , allowed that f**kin' nonce Lasley to con him all day and failed to punish several tackles worthy of cards also allowed blatant time wasting to go unpunished !

That was the worst Motherwell team I've seen since we returned to the SPL in 2006 , the signs aren't good for us IMO !

Agree with point one to a degree. Give them time to adjust though. I'd personally have Caldwell on from the start rather than Ball.

Point two- No argument at all there!

Point three - Massive over-reaction to the first game of the season which we dominated despite having half a team of new faces..

  7. Teas was good but for me Plummer was mom by a mile.

Had worries about his height at cb but he's not going to get a much more physical test than he did today against Sutton and co. Think we have A wee gem for a year

I take back all of my "mehs" about Tess. He was absolutely phenomenal today. Great re-signing....

  8. Jim Goodwin is the type of player every supporter should want in their team. A jersey til they die kind of player. Take no prisoners mentality. Yes he needs to rein it in now and again but we have been crying out for a player like him since the legend that is Billy Abercromby. Make no mistake, the SFA are clearly gunning for him again but stick by him. Eventually they will be shown up for the utter ring pieces that they are...

  9. FFS people, what does it actually matter?

    Get over it.

What it means, is the new generation of supporters wearing our shirt with pride, meaning more publicity for our great club and ensuring that there is less chance of them jumping ship to the OF or EPL as they get older. It also means revenue for the club and additional sales from other merchandise (potentially). It also means that some other mob will get my cash as the chances are he will want to replace the Saints kit I would have bought with a Liverpool one, or a Barca one, or a Scotland one. I'd say it does matter. What also sticks in my craw is the complete disregard of the views of the people who will be wearing it and/or buying it.

  10. Whoever agreed to the design of the home kit should be fired or shot. Horrible and the first home kit my son doesn't want!!

Same here mate. We always get one of the kits for my boy's birthday. This year he didn't want any of them as in his own words "they are howlin'". He's eleven years old for Christ's sake. What 11 year old football mad kid wouldn't want their team's brand new kit each year?

Whoever sanctioned these pieces of garbage need their head read. It's almost like the club are systematically trying to to destroy our merchandise revenue stream.

  11. As the new season is upon us I hereby offer the first of many exclusive Black and White Army discounts.

If you happen to be passing through BOW on Saturday on the way to Fir Park, pop into Bernie's and if you are wearing Saints colours or a scarf or have a season ticket (or I just know who you are) all beers and ciders will be just £2.

10% off your food bill as well if you fancy some pre-match sustenance. Our breakfasts are legendary. :-)

Offer available until such time as I need to leave to get the supporter's bus....

  12. It's in hand. I have agreed a fee with the co-owner of the establishment for design services rendered.... One cappucino and a malteser slice. I would hope good Buddies who frequent the forum will not only drop in to support a fellow Bud' and sample the excellent wares, but in a week or so, make a point of looking out for the 'coffee of champions' print. (Won't take me a year and two months to sort it....).

A fair deal that suits both parties.

Miserable basturt' wouldnae' stretch to a slice of chocolate cake mind you.

You stop telling porky pies Poz or I'll make your cappuccino "aw air" and give you an end bit of the malteser.......

PS. If you want to do those Hall of Fame boards, I'll hang them up in my gaff in 10 minutes.
