  1. Aye very good. Lets see what happens next time your down in A&E with one of your kids of an early evening and you discover your wait time's been increased cause staff have been given time off to go for a choir rehearsal. Or when you discover that your elderly relative has been neglected in the ward cause a couple of the ward nurses were warbling for 105 minutes in the auditorium. I can just imagine the seethe. I know for a fact you won't be lauding their skive then no matter what charity it's for.

Will the money raised cover the cost of the agency staff required to fill in while they f**k off around the country hawking themselves around for public appearance - as their website is attempting to do? There is supposed to be a shortage of doctors on the wards yet this choir is loaded with them. How can that be right?

It reminds me of my days at college where the lads used to go out to give blood cause it was a "good skive" - sadly this crew are being allowed to do it in work time at the expense of patient care. And you think it's OK? At the taxpayers expense? You disgust me!

Is it possible to block someone on this forum? Could someone point me in the right direction?

  2. I don't know if Alex Miller's involvement would've helped us this season, but its his approach to football that would put me off. His spell managing our club produced some of the most depressing football I've seen and I certainly wouldn't want to see it again.

  3. Hmm, I have read the online comments. I have stood on the terraces and I've sat in the stands. I've watched the teams at home(s) and away. I know when our squad has struggled. I know when the players have had to fight for their jobs and i know when they've excelled. I've watched good managers and I've watched bad, listened to the managers who motivate us and those who don't. I've been there when managers lift us up and I've been there when they rip us off. Tommy Craig, where do you think you fit? Good or bad? Right or Wrong? I would love to hear you tell us, without you having to send out a press release. Come on, tell us if you're with us or not. Are you our manager? Or are you just taking the cash, performing badly and don't give a toss. A "yes" would be good, but a "no" would at least be an answer. Waiting.......

  4. I'm not keen on organised boycotts. However, I stopped throwing my money away paying to watch a manager and squad who aren't committed earlier in the season. Perhaps I'm less of a fan than those who continue to turn up and all credit to them for doing so, but I'll wait til things change before I come back.

  5. The season is going from bad to worse with arguably our two best players out for weeks. I'm a realist and been a Saints fan for over 45 years. We will be relegated this season we have the wrong guy managing the club. God help us this Saturday sad.png

Luckily, I've only been a Saints fan for 38 years, so IOBS has a few years on me! I would agree that we are very likely to be relegated this season. In my opinion, the club's management is inadequate. However, I would love to be proved wrong.

  6. I don't think its the worst time to watch the team. We've had much worse to put up with. For me, the Alex Miller era of boring football lasted a lot longer and I found it hard to follow. This current spell, though, may be the most boring. Unexciting signings, very little news, official website dull, product on the field awful. I don't feel motivated to turn up and watch it.

  7. I like the flexi ticket idea. I can't justify spending what I used to spend on season tickets and now only go to games when I can afford it. I would definitely buy a flexi ticket if the prices were similar to those above. I understand the argument, however, that season tickets holders may prefer to "down-grade" and I guess this would put the club off the idea.

At the same time, I sort of agree with Shull. Having been to quite a few junior games over the last couple of years, I've got used to paying a more realistic price to watch football. The standard of football on offer in the SPFL, combined with the generally uncomfortable or unpleasant grounds doesn't match the current attendance price.

I'd like to see the club experiment with a different pricing structure, as that may help sway the occasional attender.

  8. Hmmm, far too early to make extreme suggestions about TC and his team. First two results not good, but who knows whats round the corner? My only problem so far is that the manager has stated publicly that he doesn't know why his team aren't performing. Two quotes after our last two games:

“Someone tell me how we lost that game. Anyone, as I have no idea.”

"We started brightly but never dominated and it's difficult to put a finger on the reason why"

Sorry if this sounds obvious but how about, "they scored and we didnt"? Come on Tommy, stamp your authority on the team!
