  1. Craig confirms in The Sun today he is actively looking to add to his squad. Let's await with interest but I would suggest he gets the finger out rather quickly. Just a few weeks ago he was happy with his squad. I wonder what's changed his mind?

The realisation that the players he brought in were just not good enough to do a job for Saint Mirren.

  2. Dundee: Paul Hartley turns down Cardiff City manager's job.

Regarding the recent speculation and reports out of England/Wales. The club would like to confirm that manager Paul Hartley has long term plans to stay at Dundee Football Club.

Paul is committed to the club and is looking forward and focused on the upcoming derby matches this week.

As a club, we are not surprised that speculation linking Paul to other clubs has come up due to the fantastic job he continues to do at Dens Park.

The club and Paul see the solid foundation which has already been put in place as the beginning of a long term plan which will see Paul at the helm of the club for years to come.

Could we punt them wee Tam instead maybe the Cardiff owner will think that wee Tam is Hartley and gie him the job.

  3. I've always felt that a lot of McAusland's "gaffes" were down to his attempts at passing the ball.

If the manager just told him to blooter the ball in any general direction away from his own goal then things would be a lot better.

Mr McCracken going by the above post it is clear you are a lover of the beautiful game and look to the total football of 1970's Ajax as inspiration.

  4. O.K Jim Goodwin has f**ked up again and some people on here defend him and some want shot of him.

But at the end of the day he is not a good football player as his passing is weak and he tries to many hollywood passes that never seem to benefit the team.

Far too many incidents of him seeming to want to hurt opposition players with crude challenges and flying elbows.

  5. He won't,he is in his 30s too late to change his game

That's why he's better in midfield protecting the back 4

He wants to play at the back i feel as it's inexperienced but he's a bombscare there

Just sign a fecking centre half so McLean and McGinn can push forward with freedom knowing Goodie behind them and not stuck in defence giving away fouls galore due to impatience

Goodwin sometimes seems to be a liability. I would be happy if we could get shot of him, he seems more intent on causing injury than playing football.
