Got 30 quid on Morton at 9/4 to win League One , so hoping he does very well this season
so we can play them next season.

Would Goodwin and Teale go? How would they react to being 'demoted' back to the playing squad?
wi a bit of luck, they would walk because they couldnt handle the embarassment of being demoted.

Wouldn't rule it out but would be just as bad.
As far as I can see from within, the only option is Thommo with Lowell as coach. Put Teale and Goodwin in charge of youths for now
Still a huge risk but both have qualifications and credibility with support. (Other than those on here who criticise everything)

we could form a new st mirren, play on the racecourse of a saturday afternoon with a team of players who are better footballers than tc`s lot, like maybe a bunch from the blind school or something, or residents of hawkhead cemetry?

It's tough going just now and I'm not saying Tommy is the right man for the job. But I do understand he has a weak team at the moment.

There is more than Tommy Craig at fault. I have only been to 2 games at SMP this season and have never seen any St Mirren side in the last 40 years play in front of such an apathetic home support. There is no passion off the park and the players look like rabbits in the headlights. Perhaps that's why they are getting better results away from home? Fans around me last week were waiting for the worst from long before kick off. The only passion was when they equalised before returning to general apathy. Perhaps it's just our time to go down this season. It is not, by a long way, the worst Saints side I've seen. In the 70s there were sides that did well to draw with the likes of Stenhousemuir. I just detect a real gloom around the club and reluctantly, I think a new manager may lift the mood
fans fear the worst because they have paid there hard earned cash and the worse than poor standard of football has become the norm this season.

Have to agree there , Ball and Marwood are exceptional players who just need time to fit in to Tommy's style of play. Osborne justs needs a bit of a rest a few more weeks and he will be ready to go.
I reckon we will finish 7th
13 games should be long enough for a team to `gel`, football isw a results game and tommy isnt getting them so bye bye tommy craig. id say it has been fun but it has been pure and utter drudgery and torture.

I'd say County are clear favourites at present followed by ourselves. The January transfer window could change that however.
Motherwell will pull of clear of us over the next few weeks.

Tbh, we would struggle against most clubs and just hope we have a fully fit squad to choose from plus Jan transfer window will hopefully allow us to strengthen in the required areas.
as mentioned in other threads, tc isnt interested in strengthening the squad or he would have done it in the summer.
