Now Clarkskon has been released by Motherwell I suspect there's a good chance he will sign for us? Wouldn't be a bad signing IMO, experienced and could be good foil for another shankland type player!

We could tell them to shove it and arrange a weekly game of 11's at a different venue.
Some might not want to play 11's but it would keep more of the squad involved and less people twiddling their thumbs for weeks waiting to get back in.
Club would lose out on our money but tbh I think they deserve a boot in the balls, maybe they need it?

Would like to see us go for Robert Thomson at Brechin. Good young striker, scoring consistently at that level and only 21. Previously at Dundee Utd, Alloa and Dunfermline. Think he's out of contract at the end of the season.

That's a pitch booked tomorrow at Johnstone sports Hub 9pm. Think it's the best we can do at short notice.

I'll book it just now then, only the one pitch left and it's by far our best option! If there's a lot of guys object I think I can cancel anyway.

I phoned a few places. Feegie sports centre is fully booked. There's a slot at the sports hub in Johnstone at 9pm on astro grass and it's only £36.40 (£2.30 each approx) or slots at 8 and 9 at On-X Linwood on sand brushed pitches at the same price. I can't get any reply from the Pitz but if everyone could make Johnstone I reckon that might be a good shout?

I'm happy to make a few phone calls and get somewhere? Would it need to be 8 or could you do 7/9? I'll try and get somewhere as local as possible.

I know Renfrewshire Leisure have good 7s parks, think it's £35 p/hr for members (need to double check) but I'm a member and could book one today when I'm in. Plenty of venues (Linwood, Johnstone etc.)

If the dome isn't ready this week, I wonder if we could seek an alternative venue until it's ready? Somewhere local, possibly one of the Renfrewshire leisure HUB's?

Source seems to think there's a good chance of it happening, both clubs keen. There is apparently some interest from English League 1 however, but hoping TC can use his connections to swing it!
