Pardew today confirmed Fabrico Collocini will remain at Newcastle. Looks better now for getting Dummett back!

What about bringing Illias Haddad back for remainder of the season? Would be good back up and still relatively young, currently a free agent.

Any one who watched Parkin and Guy on Saturday would disagree.
Well, a more pressing concern IMO is the fact we conceded 4 goals to a team below us in the league. Goncalves has come in let's hope he does well but attention has to turn to defence

It's not strikers we need, Goncalves looks good and will surely be better than Guy and Oarkin, welcome addition! Attention now must turn to a left back and a centre back, preferably before Sunday.

After seeing all these players were being linked with, I'm slightly concerned. Danny seems to be solely concentrating on creative attacking players when really our priorities should be on finding a good few defensive players. Don't get me wrong I think we do need another striker to play alongside Thompson but priority must be on getting a solid centre back? I'd much prefer to see Goodwin sitting in the CDM role again and someone like McGregor at the back. McAusland and Mair are no where near solid enough, McGregor is no nonsense which is exactly what we need at the back. All the Pish tippy tappy around the back leads to a huge amount of mistakes, that's got to be cut out! Carey is not a left back! Don't mind him filling in for the odd game but a proper LB is required ASAP! Barron and Van Zanten are average at best! Young Paul McGinn seems to be a good young player, maybe it's time we think about getting him in the team?

Getting Dummet back would be a real boost! Think Goodwin has to move back into midfield however, we look vulnerable in the middle.

Whoever this striker Is that Danny won't name, I think it's hugely important we get him in for Sunday. If we stand anychance of winning, we need someone up there with Thompson who's capable of playing good football. Parkin and Guy are pretty dire and I don't think throwing the young 19 year old Polish boy into a semi final against Celtic is wise.

Birmingham have dropped their interest in Doris. It appears we're now the only team bring linked with him. Seems he would be an excellent signing!

Kris Boyd has been released from the Portland Timbers and looks like the Whitecaps are looking to move Miller on too. Surely one is worth a punt until the end of the season?

Stefan Scougall would be an extremely worthwhile investment.
Aaron Sinclair at Thistle is another.
From what I've seen of Scougall he looks pretty exciting, him and Donnelly are 2 very talented players.

Ryan Donnelly at Airdrie looks a quality player, should maybe think about taking a closer look at him?

I think the stick Chessy gets its pretty harsh. He's come on leaps and bounds under DL, every time I've seen him I've been suitably impressed. Anyway, a lot of our success will depend on how well he and Mair play this season so let's get right behind them!

As well as my rear end, it was announced he was pretty much signed up with an SPL club next season (few minor things to tie up) an interview with Tommy Craig on Tuesday, he said we had a big named striker coming in who would provide extra firepower. However, he was not going to discuss names as he didn't want another Craig Beattie situation on his hands.

DaMarcus Beasley - freea agent and a pretty good player. Might b a bit expensive on the wages side though but surely worth some sort of effort to try and get him? Hes the kind of player we really need.
