We play 5s on a wednesday at powerleague (Pitz for those of a similar age to me !!) 7.30 - 8.30.
On a few occasions it has been a bit of a struggle to get my numbers. I was thinking , if there are any on the B&W reserve list who might like a game now & then with our lot , I fully understand that if "the dome" calls you will take your game there & i dont want to take players from your game (indeed if i continue to struggle for bods ,i`m adding my name on the list )but for the weeks your on standby it could be just the thing.
Players of various ability & age ,including an old bugger.Me.
No slide tackles , no slamming each other to bits, just a decent game o footy hopefully.

I do something similar on a Tuesday evening and the sports hub in Johnstone, 7 a side and very mixed ability and ages. If anyone on the standby list fancies a game that could be an idea as well.

I know there's a few of the guys here desperate for some football. If anyone's interested, me and some other guys play 7s at the sports HUB in Johnstone every Tuesday evening. Pretty good standard, good bunch of guys we have. There's nearly always space for a few extra bodies as well.

I see some articles going around saying Ipswich are looking to sign Kenny in the summer on a free. Mick McCarthy apparently was at the Scotland U-21 game to watch him on Wednesday. Would be a big loss!

I know we keep saying this but yet another brilliant game of football tonight with the oldies edging a thrilling game by one goal. Luke Jolly between the sticks for the youngsters was in outstanding form and was my man of the match. Roll over Div there is a new cat between the sticks.
Everyone attended this week (thanks Fraser).
Excellent game tonight! Thoroughly enjoyable, fought to the very end! David, you were my MOTM. Can't wait for next week, bring it on!

Only having one CH for Sunday's game isn't unless we've already written it off.
Haven't Saints appealed Cheesy's red card? That means he's available for Sunday.

He better be trying to bring in at least 2 defenders, we are very short at the back. Unless he's gonna try Yaqib, but he doesn't even make the bench
Yaqub is only recently off crutches after an op, would imagine he's still some way away from being fit.

Wonder why there's no covers over the pitch? Seems Motherwell have had then down all week and intend to have them down as long as they can up until kick off!

Article on the STV page says we've been linked with Josh Maggenis. Also speaks again about Ryan Stevenson. The headline indicates Lennon isn't on for these guy but In the full interview he only says he won't name names. Maggenis doesn't fill me with hope however!

Just confirmed his contract with Aberdeen has been terminated. Permanent deal looking likely!

Rabiu Ibrahim been released by Kilmarnock. Always thought he looked like a good player! 6 month deal could work?

Rory Fallon been told he can leave the fakes. Might be worth a contract until the end of the season? Wouldn't take up to much in the wage budget and can deputise when Thommo tires.

I accepted my teamer invite for this week but I've just remembered my mum is in hospital for an op tomorrow. Visiting time is 7-8 so I wouldn't make it for 8 and more probably be closer to 8:10/15. I don't know if you'd rather I declined or would you be okay with me being late?
