  1. I'm sorry, but if you don't read the article then it kind of invalidates your point. L*wason said they they would bid "if the CiC failed", which is a wee side project they have been working on for 2 years now - the failure of the CiC.

Hey, I'm thinking of running as a councillor in the local election in a couple of years' time. I am also really, really interested in ferret baiting. There is thriving ferret baiting community in Renfrewshire and one of Paisley's leading ferret baiters, Franco "the master baiter" Wanko is is has floated his ferret baiting team (the Wanko Engine) on the FTSE 250. 52% of the shareholding is due to be up for sale in a few years when Franco retires. It's valued at about £1.5M. If I get in when I run in a couple of years, I'm going to table a motion for the council to buy the 52% shareholding in the Wanko Engine as I think it is a worthwhile investment for the cash-strapped council to make. After all, it's perfectly reasonable for me to table that motion to spend millions of pounds of the council's money on a personal hobby of mine, isn't it?! It's especially good as it isn't my own money... I won't have to put a penny in.

Yeah... hard to side with the points of a crazy person!

St Mirren fans, in council, have say in council, wish to promote good things for St Mirren. Believe it.

  2. Voted No to every question, and especially question 3 because it's a clear try at scaremongering and in no way will I be scared in to voting yes on hypotheticals of St Mirren going bust. Left this note below:

"After all the hard work done with the sale of the stadium and balancing of books, St Mirren should be debt free. If St Mirren go in to administration due to reliance on another club, then that means the club has not been run correctly, and deserves it's fate. Scottish football needs a booster and this is the time for it - we should expand the SPL next season and restructure everything. This for me is a necessity. For this season, Rangers need to be punished. I would allow them to join an SPL2 the season after though as their revenue and interest will give that second league a boost. I also wish to say the way the questions are worded, they do indeed come across as scaremongering, and, it does seem the CIC wish to vote in Rangers. Regardless, other teams are voting No so we should too or else we face no fans coming from the likes of Celtic and Dundee United. Therefore, losing the £200k mentioned in question 2. anyway!!!

Thanks for reading in advance, and good luck with the takeover."

  3. Killie are putting it to their fans......aberdeen are consulting with all of their fans as have Dundee United. They have not restricted it to a single organisation and especially not one that has just put in a conditional offer to take a controlling interest in the club, that have already started making noises about the business implications and how it could impact their bid progressing.

All fans should get a vote on this.

Sid, I will be part of the new CIC and therefore will have a vote if it comes to it. I don't even think the fans' vote will be taken on board, as at the end of the day it all comes down to money. And, there is really no need for fans voting as every club's fans would vote No.

I am not entirely bothered about Rangers and couldn't care less about what happens to them. I am fully focused on St Mirren. Therefore, my vote will be your vote. So shall I vote 'no' for you? Will that stop you going ape? lol
