No room for that sort of thing at Ralston.
Oh right. Fair enough.

Am I the only one on here wondering why the team are possibly using the pitches behind the Away Stand at Greenhill Road if they are unable to use the facilities at Ralston? If these pitches are capable of being used even in bad weather, why were they not assembled at the Ralston complex? Am I missing something here? I hope I am missing something because this seems odd to me.

The "Champions League" is a very good example of what is wrong with modern football. The very fact that Clubs who aren't actually "champions" of their own League are allowed to participate says it all.
Shove yer Coupe des Clubs Champions Européens up yer derrière.

Fantastic
I hadn't heard this one before either and I liked it!

This is a stunning beautiful song Dougie McLean has put music to a Robert Tannahill poem about the seasons up the brase in Paisley. The track is available on Dougies album Tribute which in it's self is a cracking album
I hadn't heard this before but I enjoyed that.

ah coffin end thats it cheers bud
Thank you, Buddiecat! I wasn't sure if it was "Coffin End" or "Coffin Steeple". I've heard people calling it both but I think end is right.

Freddie Starr's been lifted in conjunction with the investigations in to beasty saville
Is that him in the Gary Glitter then?

Think in the shape that the building makes as you face it Buddiecat. It's not the cough that carries you off.....
Coffin End? Coffin Steeple?

Danny Lennon should never have let Hugh Murray go. I can't believe we got rid of him and kept Jim "pass back" Goodwin and brought in that Robertson bloke.
There's only one Shuggie Murray, one Shuggie Murray!

Feel like a name dropper now ! Played alongside Johnny for a few years & I've got to say, what a wasted talent, had the ability to go far, but unfortunately, other things in his "lifestyle" seemed to overshadow his abilities!
I remember people telling me he should have been better than he was with us. Shame.

Galloway, Kelechi Okore or Fellner who only made a couple of appearances?
Steve Galloway, Kelechi Okorie, Tony Macdonald, Gerard Fellner, Andy Dow, Kevin Twaddle, Graham Fenton, Paul Lawson, John Boyd, Mikael Renfrum, Jens Paeslack, Lex Baillie.
That's all I can think of at present.
Ricky Gillies is one of my all time favourites though . I quite liked Davie Elliot as well.

I've never heard this before or of them either but I did like this song.

Seriously FS, if you don't like a thread, don't come on and read it. It really is that simple!
This is a St Mirren (and football) forum. They're on here debating a footballing incident involving St Mirren's record appearance maker. You should take yourself "away from here" and post somewhere else if you've got nothing to add to the debate in question other than criticising fellow posters (and decent ones at that). Who gives a f**k? Obviously the people posting in this thread give a f**k!
This seems like a really unfortunate incident and I hope the boy makes a full and speedy recovery. I'm sure Shuggie is as gutted about it as anyone else. Like others have said though, Shuggie is a credit to the game as when he gets on the park, all he wants to do is play the game. There are world-class footballers who could learn a thing or two from the attitude of guys like Hugh Murray, on and off the park.
Well said.

Mate, that camera angle shows nothing! Like I've said, doubt there was any malice, but it was horribly mistimed! For the record I have it on good authority that Murray has been in contact with Stephen Stirling apologising for the tackle! Maybe he realised it was mistimed too!
That's the Hugh Murray I will always cherish and fondly recall.
