Other pubs that come to mind...
The Cross Bar, where the wee amusement arcade is on St Mirren Street;
The Long Bar, in Gilmour Street opposite Sportsters. Surprisingly enough, it was the longest bar in Paisley;
The St Mirren Bar, under the railway bridge on Moss Street, a DIY shop now.

it was called a few names one was the gallow green bar
jackie copland owned the crown not the bar across the street
and the bob inn or stringfellows was in greenock road
Where did anyone say it wasn't in Greenock Road?
-
I remember when the Elbow Room was the Sheep's Heid. I also remember a pub in Springbank Road called The Vaults (way before my drinking days). And the Bowlers being reopened as a trendy pub called Jorries.
You may have mentioned this one Tom and I didn't notice - what was the pub that was on Broomlands Street across from the Crown? Broomlands Bar perchance? I think Jackie Copland owned it for a while but it's now a curry house...
-
Remember Stringfellow's at the Caledonia Street end of the ground. Think it was also called the Bobbin.

Anyway, getting back to shitey pubs. The shiteyest I've ever been in was the old Roxburgh Bar in Greenock. You could have any drink you liked as long as it was dark or clear...

N=Tudor
E=Burgh Bar
S=Creag Dubh
W=Park Bar
C=Bull Inn
Ok, there ARE pubs further N and S and E than those but they're mah favs ... and those were the olden day names when they existed.
And in Scotland
N=Old Inn, Carbost on Skye
E=The Rose, Rose Street
S=Kings Arms, Castle Douglas
W=Clachaig, Glen Coe
C=Rod and Reel, Crianlarich
So when you planning your next bevvy in the Tudor and the Park?

I thought he was a total Brown-noser.............
I think you'll find he is what he needs to be to suit his purpose. He can even be a lifelong Saints fan when it's absolutely necessary...

Nothing worse than watching somebody just throw thier rubbish on the ground HOW CAN THEY JUST DO THAT !!
What really pisses me off is when folk start blaming the council for the litter.
-
Apparently folk are now saying that there's an increased risk of drinks being spiked while the drinker is away having a smoke. What a great idea
