  1. Walloper.................................lol.gif

Another top quality post, approaching 30,000,have you thought about getting a real life and ditching your virtual one ? Cancel that, all your little fanboys who "like" every shit post you make wouldnt know what to do,they might even start having their own opinions !!! Perish the thought

  2. Isn't calling a St Mirren player 'trailer trash who would spit in your face' something the moderators should be looking at?

Only if the moderators are as tragic as you,and only if the st mirren player wasnt a ned. Will you be calling for all members who called mcgowan every name under the sun to be "looked at" too? thought not .Maybe engage your brain before you "try" to jump on the anti saints0 bandwagon,

  3. How can you say that anyone with less than one complete season of games played in total is 'proven' anything? Poor and unqualifiable attitude to have.

I'm going to add some balance here. This is a young lad, barely 20 years old, and the goals to games ratio is nothing we can go on as 17 of those league appearances were as a sub. He's not yet had a proper run in a side yet with which to make a judgment, and so the only people qualified to give a semi-reliable opinion are those that have coached him / seen him in training.

In other words, as with EVERY saints player, I will be giving him my full support until he's played at least a dozen full matches for us and had time to settle in. Only then if it's clear he doesn't have 'it' will I change my mind.

Welcome to St Mirren Ross - I hope both you and the club will benefit throughout your time with us. smile.png

He is complete trailer trash,if you said that to his face he would spit in yours.Another ned welcomed with open arms because he is cheap

  4. I suppose it was the signing that made most sense when Suarez was unveiled by Barca, and Robben insisted he was staying in Deutschland.....?

Ffs knickerwetters.... Dry yir pants and gie the boy a chance...!

Think how much you'll be able to say 'I told you so'!

And how many times you'll be able to jack off to a video of him missing a chance whilst you howl abuse from yir keyboard...

(Well you don't actually go to matches so you'll have to make do by calling him pish online)

Think how you'll jiz yir pants if you hound yet another young footballer out of the club?

season ticket holder for 22 yrs with one three year break, and if we sign proven shite i will say it .To label him as promising is laughable and to label me as a troll for pointing out he is crap is nonsense

  5. Riley was poor last season, I wouldn't write him off as a failure though.

He could and perhaps will come good next season. Just like Caldwell.

How many times have you seen caldwell ? zero, judging by your comments on the player. He wont be "coming good" he is total shite.I know you consider yourself an expert on everything but maybe you should keep quiet for once if you havent even watched the player in question, ive seen him about a dozen times, stands out for the wrong reasons
  6. Caldwell is 20 years old. How can you write anyone off at that age? If he offers some pace from the bench then that's good enough, it not it's not much too lose. Sure he won't be any worse than Caprice or the ilk.

The centre back has decent enough pedigree. Livi fans said he was a man mountain and would like him back. He's played for Maribor in the Champions League qualifiers and at u21 international level over there.

I'd be happy of we signed those 2 before the start of the season. That then gives us till the end of the window to identify areas of concern and and snap up a couple more loans to give the squad more padding.

If we sign Caldwell we will be the laughing stock of scottish football, pathetic doesnt do his abilities as a footballer justice.Centre back i havent seen so will reserve judgement ,but if T.C gives him a gig it will be a very sad day indeed
  7. I am just over 40 ( smile.png ) and been supporting the Club for 45 years and ANXIETY is not a word I would even consider towards my feeling for the forthcoming season. 1 because life is too short to be anxious about a football team and 2 we have a good squad at the moment which will have additions before the season starts so nothing to worry about smile.png .

"life is too short to be anxious about a football team " !! speaks volumes
  8. Goodness me, what a state you've got yourself into lol.gif:

I've been accused of a lot of things on this forum, but not having anything controversial to say is certainly a new one.

If you want to be controversial you'll need to do better than saying stuff like 'relegation is looming', that isn't controversial, that's just patent nonsense.

The fact is we finished 8th last year despite being hopeless for large parts of the season, we underachieved and still finished safely in 8th.

We then expected to lose at least 2 of Kello and McLean, we've kept both of them, there's 2 huge signings.

I think have a better starting 11 than every team that finished in the bottom 6 last year at the moment, and squad wise I'd say we are roughly on a par with ICT and St Johnstone from the top 6.

We need a couple more players, but so does every single team in the league, infact a good few of them need a lot more than a couple.

There's a great feeling around the club at the minute, that's why Kenny and Marian stayed. If you are a Saints fan I suggest you get a sense of perspective and relax, if you aren't (which I suspect strongly) then improve your trolling material.

"i think we have a better starting 11 than every team that finished in the bottom 6 last year at the moment" What a completely pointless statement !! especially when you havent even seen a couple of our players in the flesh

Oh really ? I stand corrected,i was under the impression Kenny stayed because no one wanted to pay a nominal fee for him.Maybe myself and three fellow buddies arent Saints fans(as you strongly suspect),because as we were discussing the team/club in the pub on sunday night the phrase "There's a great feeling around the club at the minute" never reared its head. But you have your finger on the pulse ,so i doubt the fears and concerns of three season ticket holders with 50 plus years of support between us matters to you .do you ever socialise with real fans over 40 ? If you did you would learn the "feeling" around the club is ANXIETY
  10. Correct JJ, last season I was really concerned about our lack of activity in the transfer market. So far I feel we are doing OK. we've lost McGowan, Harkins and Newton in the midfield and not replaced them but Harkins didn't really feature anyway. Looks like the trialist can replace McGregor and we have another option up front. We also have 2 good keepers signed.

We are in a much better place this time around than we were last season IMO. let's all be calm.

I am really struggling with the "much better" place. We may do ok for half a dozen games but thats about it.Teale.Thompson and Goodwin will be lucky to play 25 games each,McLean will probably get injured at some point,we need to pray the back four avoid any injuries and Marwood is a goal scoring machine who can create his own chances. We need AT LEAST three players
