FT 0-1
Yas.
What a huge 3 points that is.
After we had rung off 3 losses in a row, the latest being a home pumping, you can’t help but think the wheels have came off.
To go to Hamilton, a place we’ve always been shite at, and to not only get our first away point of the season but to win the game certainly shows something. Team has a bit of character about them.
Delighted for Cammy McPherson to get the goal too. He’s been in and out and the team and almost became a victim of his own versatility. He’s a good young player with a fantastic attitude.
We will be in the relegation scrap come the split, no doubt about that. So will Hamilton and 2 or 3 others. With Goodwin at the wheel though, I think we’ll get out it fine. -
FT 2-1
Another sore one on the road, 8 games 8 losses. Worrying indeed.
Again we competed well and probably deserved a point. Got the late penalty for the equaliser and Tony has just side footed it right down the middle and gave the keeper an easy save, hopeless.
We’re competing every week - unless we are at Tynecastle or Parkhead - but these narrow losses are hurting us.
Big game at home to Motherwell on Wed, need to get something there. -
Obika scored... Again!
This can't be right, the experts on here say he's shite.
He’s no Higdon or Thompson, he’s not going to score 15-20 a season.
He will put himself about and get 5-10 though. -
HT 1-1
Watching this on a stream in Bucharest and a draw is a fair reflection on proceedings thus far.
Fantastic bit of play for Ryan Flynn for our goal, what a baller he is. Beat a few men and cut it back for the big man to tap in. OBIKA!
McLoughlin had a good chance to put us in the lead too but his header went wide.
Great chance for us to get our first away point (s?) of the season here if we keep playing the way we are.

When is a winner not a winner, when he's a self declared internet winner - think you're winning is possibly the most pathetic statement you've made in these long 8 months!
Another round of posting the same old, same old supports the POV we have nothing left to debate with, yet another failure from you - keep 'em coming!
PS - I note we managed to win today using our development players or summer panic but. Congratulations to the manager and players making it off the bottom of the division despite being handicapped by the failure of our TD this summer.
You just can’t let it go can you [emoji28]

Ah, the "Lesser spotted Lex".
I wonder why it's been absent for the past few weeks.
Still as dim as ever though.
I don’t go to away games anymore bud. Glad to see you’re still at it with the name calling though, classy as ever[emoji106] -
No it isn't.
Tell me how it’s weaker? Who is this seasons Dundee?
Again another great home win from Goody’s fellas... now just to sort out that away form... -
You could always vote yes and get it over and done with [emoji6]
But I’d rather we stayed part of the UK.
Will always be a minority wanting independence, always has been.
Even after they lose #indyref2 , they will want #indyref3, and they’d lose that too.
Never ending rejection. Must hurt. -
How many times do we need to vote no till you lot get it?
Twice? Thrice?
Give me that ballot paper. -
Forgot he was here. What a terrible signing by Ross he was.
Waste of money. -
Steven Thompson.
-
When all fit who are you putting on the bench to play McGinn ?
You’re spot on bud. When everyone is fit Flynn plays, no doubt.
‘Captain fantastic’ is a decent reserve.
-
Don't ever change.
It makes taking the piss out of you so easy.[emoji4]
‘ his team were as good as the one we have now ‘
His team were 11th (at highest, we were 12th for a while too) we are now 9th.
Also this league is stronger than last years.
Shine on you crazy diamond, shine on

Kirk Broadfoot is pure dead brilliant.
One of those players that you watch and think, what on earth are you doing playing for a team like us?
I’m sure i made a similar post on this website in 2006. It was true then and it’s true today.
He was a St Mirren legend before he re-signed, hIs return is merely reinforcing that status.
He should be club captain, the way he is leading the team he kinda is anyway.
What a signing. Legend! -
You mean the football manager that kept us in this league?
I'm no great fan of OK and welcomed JG's appointment, but his team were as good as the one we have just now IMO.
I'll wait until the end of the season and see if we've "progressed" or not.
Interesting to see the positive contribution that our club captain made today, despite some dullards telling us that he wasn't good enough.
Just double checking that your point was based on absolutely nothing.
Thanks for the confirmation.
-
We're now back to the level we were at when OK left.
Let's hope we continue our upward trajectory.
When were we 9th under the PE teacher?
-
That progression.

Anyone surprised Jack has been sent home to Scotland with his tail between his legs?
I’m not.

FT 2-0
Yas.
Thought we were good second half. Controlled the game, scored one more, should have scored two or three more. Easy and well deserved three points in the end.
Thought Broadfoot was fantastic (again) and Mullen and Obika, a goal each from our two starting strikers, what more you want?
Our home record has actually been good this season. Five games, two wins two draws one defeat, one goal conceded, which was a wonder free kick against Rangers.
We need to improve going forward and on the road, but overall there is clearly progression under Goodwin. We are 9th and that’s about where we should be, higher than we were at any point last season.
Thought the visitors were a disgrace, second half particularly. I’ve seen a lot of St Johnstone teams over the last 20 years but that has to be the worst. I was expecting them to come out all guns blazing second half and really put us under pressure. They didn’t, they didn’t look interested and rolled over, pathetic. Unless there is major changes at that football club they will finish 12th. I hope there isn’t. -
Paul McGinn assist from the right by line, first time strike from Danny Mullen in the top corner.
Surely, there’s your ball game...? -
2-0
Mullen
f**king yeehaa. -
Should be 2-0 up.
Started second half really well.
Mullen hits the inside of the post and the rebound bounces kindly for the fakes. -
There was a round of applause at the 17th minute. Not sure why, as I hadn't seen any announcement about it.
A young Saints fan called Steven Ingram died recently and it was for him. -
HT 1-0
Thought we were rubbish for most of the first half. St Johnstone had the better of the play and had a few half chances.
Thankfully they... look like a team who is bottom of the league.
Then we get a shot on goal, good save, reset, cross, overhead kick into the top corner from... OBIKA!
Would be such a big win for us today. Please....
Hold.
