1981 League Cup Semi v Rangers at Ibrox. Conceded 2 goals in last 5 mins, including dodgy penalty.
1983 Scottish Cup Semi replay v Rangers at Hampden. Last minute winner for Rangers that never crossed the line.

Lambert chucked it in his last year at St Mirren.
Disgraceful behaviour by a so called Professional especially when we desperately needed him to be 100%.
That is why he ended up at Motherwell first, before moving on to greater things.
No respect for him.
The year before he went to Motherwell, Dundee United offered £500k for Lambert.
The deal didn't happen because his wife didn't want to move to Dundee, away from her family.
The following season, we were in so much financial trouble that the bank forced us to accept an offer of £50k from Motherwell ( plus Jim Gardner).

A clear out will probably happen but isn't always necessary.
Tom Hendrie turned us into champions with the bulk of the squad he inherited. Indeed, he lost McNamee & O'Brien. The big signing was of course Barry Lavety.
Gus Macpherson also finished 2nd and 1st with a number of the players who had fought against relegation.
And Leicester City have managed to go from fighting relegation to potential champions with more or less the same squad. The addition of a defensive midfielder probably being the main signing...

In England the A&E clock starts when a doctor decides that a patient is to be admitted, in Scotland the clock starts when you turn up at the door. So the "wait" should be longer in Scotland, all else being equal.
The declared NHS spend in Scotland includes things like social care for the elderly, for England it doesn't.

That's because the odds are that a move breaks down after 5 passes!some of the football we have been watching has been pretty dreadful - we hardly string 5 passes together.

Why would you want to string 5 passes together when 50% of all goals come from a move of 1 pass or less!
Leicester City make less passes than anyone in the Premiership. They have the worst passing accuracy and the least amount of possession. They also play more long balls than any other team, most of which are unsuccessful and give the ball away more than anyone else.
But, crucially, of the passes the do make, they make a greater % in the attacking third than any other team... And its usually on the break against disorganised defences.
And they are going to win the fcuking league!

That strikes me as a very simplistic take on things. My 'belief set' (if you want to call it that) is very different to others who support independence. I favour an independent Republic, out of NATO for a start. I share more views with some friends who shat it than I do with some who voted YES.
Hardly a 'movement'.
I don't like the royal family either.
But it comes way down the list of priorities whenever I vote. Indeed, its not something I really care about.
For it to be your number one priority is odd.

He might be mate. He signed a 1 year deal with the Steelmen last summer but it had the option of a 2nd year;

This will be the first summer since the 2013-2014 season that we will finish the season with the same management team that we'll start the next campaign with.
That will hopefully mean we can expect a much improved recruitment policy.
Murray was appointed before last season finished and had the entire summer to recruit players.
Look how that turned out!

Good idea, get rid of our joint top goal scorer.
You would expect our main striker, who has played more games in that position than anyone else, to be top scorer surely?

I disagree.
The Rangers semi defeats (and the Aberdeen semi defeat at Dens) are my 3 worst memories.
Hammerby just meant that we lost out on losing in a subsequent round.
The semi defeats meant we lost out on a chance to win a major trophy.
And we were cheated in both the Rangers games.
And to compound matters you had to deal with the dirty currant bun cunts at school the next day.
