I have no idea whether Sutton has actually signed or not.
It is div who has made the revelation, not me.
My point is that it was my belief that div was saying that Sutton HAD signed and he knew this for sure.
I was correct as div confirmed this.

Personally I would rather no transfers were hinted at, "confirmed" or spoken about confidently till after the official confirmation.
By all means have a speculative blether but having been caught out in the past from signings breaking down at a late stage, I really don't see the advantage of this kind of "revelation".
But if he has already signed and div knows this for a fact, then I can't see any disadvantage.
If the move is already complete then it can't break down!

Just because it hasn't officially been announced doesn't mean it hasn't happened!

The flimsy concerns being raised in this instance is just a flimsy cover for blatant racism.Andy you have failed to read all the posts or else you read what you want to read. Of course being from the UK anyone making the slightest noise about local concerns is a racist. Suppose it's one way to stop people complaining. However it does not answer why 20 families are being moved out of Camberltown under the name they can't settle. Then moving them to an island. I'm all for our country helping anyone from Syria. There are right ways and wrong ways and right ways about doing this explained further back in the thread.
I have no doubt that the reason they are being moved from Campbeltown is that the racist benefit scroungers over there kicked up enough bile to get them moved.
The right way to go about this, IMO, as I explained earlier, is to ship the Bute benefit scroungers over to Syria.
I attended the Bute Highland games last August and had the misfortune to share a ferry coming back with a number of them coming over for the Sevco v Hibs game.

Well thy came to Scotland with a few bags nothing more. Housing, everything you need for a house. New bikes for children. New van to run families to pray at the local church hall. Money to live on though I have no idea how much.
What do you expect the Syrians to do?
Live in a tent and forage for food?
If it were up to me, I'd ship the whinging Bute locals over to Syria in exchange!

They are being given back their former lives, their country, their homes, their jobs and their future?
Because if not I would hesitate before using that phrase.
Poorer locals have access to free education and free healthcare and most do not make the best of their opportunities.
That is their own problem. Nothing to do with the Syrians at all.

Just because we don't know for sure that he he's signed doesn't mean that he hasn't!
