I said “goalscorers”. We haven’t signed any and don’t possess one . Anyway without fans the games are boring. I’m not being unduly negative, we are the worst team in the league so far.
We signed a goal scorer in Kristian Dennis
Stickport 1 in 3.5
Macclesfield 1 in 2.6
Chesterfield 1 in 2.5
Notts County 1 in 3.3
other players will score with service that makes them goal scorers if your talking prolific then that is a striker we are not the worst team in the league right now we are 2nd worst but this enforced break will hopefully allow Dennis and Flynn to get fit and the 2 new boys joined today
2013–2016 Stockport County 60 (22) 2015–2016 → Macclesfield Town (loan) 38 (22) 2016–2018 Chesterfield 78 (27) 2018–2020 Notts County 54 (16 -

The failure to sign a goal scorer will see us lose yet another match. So long since we last played, will it be 7 or8 straight league defeats ?
We did sign strikers we have not provided the service too them too much thus far. Could you make a cup of tea without teabags or tealeaves? So by your estimation we shouldn't bother playing Friday? Its been 3 weeks not really a long time

Because during the virus we signed a bare minimum squad. We loaned players out when we should have kept squad together and had as big a squad as possible to cover games. Goodwin did opposite so IMO club should be made to play games even with youth players or lose points. Total incompetence on Goodwins part IMO.
Wow what a load of sheeeat

Both games cancelled should be considered as defeats, as they likely would be anyway. If you don’t turn up for a game it’s the only sporting thing to do.
The games are not cancelled they are postponed and in no way should be considered defeats. And how would they likely be defeats anyway

Deserve to be!
And how do we who is to say we haven't been adhering to protocals or we are more rigorous and thus why so many positive cases have come to light. Where as maybe some other clubs havent as rigorous thus so called no cases. The club can only do so much the players do lead a life as well and can easily come in contact with others outwith the club bubble

Why can't we play U21s/development players?
They are not within the first team bubble and therefore would not have been in the same testing programme.

Season is over as long as Goodwin is in charge...
no it isnt so who do you want in charge since you clearly dont fancy JG in the hot seat?

Can someone show me where we forfeit the game 3 nil or lose points. The game has been postponed thats all. I do not remember seeing a rule in the league set up advising the above and it cant just be changed in a heartbeat. This is totally different from the cup competition teams have lost the points for

No idea. Maybe like me they thought the captain wasn't available.
Well maybe if they enquired they would find this out and potentially upping the cost to buy. If there is only 1 club in for a player who can sign a pca in 2.5 months time the fee is what it is most fees are deemed undisclosed these days because clubs probably dont get what they want even more so now in the current situation as long as some is put back to getting players in as JG eluded to allowed to bring in 2 and look at the free transfer market in coming days

Agreed, Moria's done well tonight, the whole team played pretty well tbh, at least we know we're no as pish as we've looked in the last few games... Erwin looks a big improvement on Obika... Hopefully we can kick on from here..
Morias was gash half the time he spent in the middle of the park if not leaving space doen their left to attack he was chasing shadows. Early doors 2nd half played a ball straight out the park to a seat in the stand then hits a long diagonal to Erwin i the box tohalf an inch from bye line never a forward and certainly not a winger/wide man in a 5. Erwin n Obika are different styles of player were you slating him last season after his goals

We are still not playing to our strength. Morias and mcallister shouldn't be near first team 451 to 442 our strength is/ will be in midfield and defence. Forget the wings or have connolly utilise them later in games
forget the wings until later negates the forwards we have so no point playing them either then

Radio coverage only. Yet another defeat albeit by a lower margin than expected, which is no consolation however. Should we lose again on Saturday, things are looking grim. May watch highlights later.
So 7 games in we have played the top 3 which leaves 4 games 2 wins 1 draw from those games aye shows a really look of being grim

Very laudable sentiments. Statistically we are due a win, however that would take some effort and a bit of belief. We possess none of that , so Celtic to win easily. 0-4 I imagine.
Aye got that wrong i see

Erwin is a physical presence and has a bit of pace might be q good partner for Obika although as usual some as writing him off before the ink has dried on his contract. I'd love some names from those dismissing him as who we should be signing (actual names)
Those already writing him off will come up with the usual football manager type names not realistic targets. We are who we are and as such cut our cloth accordingly

The game in hand will be lost as always against Celtic. I never accept this so called excuse of players having to “gel”. They are professional footballers, it’s their sport, they don’t need to learn something new. That’s what training is for. I’m afraid I agree with the chap who has said we’ve not played well this season so far. Two scrappy wins, a tanking and a lucky draw against Ross County. Next up , a team we have always struggled against. Need a vast improvement. Oh, and a centre forward.
New players do need time to gel on the training pitch is not the same as a match day scenario anyone starting in a new place takes time to bed in. As for saturday they have looked rather poor insipid at the back. I will settle for some scrappy wins( would you rather we lost or drew them) these are games we may well have lost in the past this season we havent 7 points on the board is a good start a platform to build from. And i believe we brought a new striker in last week we are not in the market for another its a winger JG is looking at

Are you sure it's not for moaning g*ts to complain about folk typing opinions?
I dont know is it as im just typing my opinion that we dont need threads in 2 places about a player thats ours now so its not speculation

The speculation now is whether he will score goals.
This again can be put into the actual thread for him the speculation thread is about possible players coming to us or being linked not about players we have scoring or not scoring
