Great Saints support yesterday despite overpriced entry (£12 for kids is a joke) and poor playing conditions.
Sadly we were given nothing to cheer about all day. Wont be back there, rip off.Whats it come to when a club like Hamilton Accies are charging £12 for kids to watch what for me is utter junk full of second rate players and journeymen at the end of their careers.
No wonder parents and children are finding other things to do with their Saturday afternoons.

No issue with Gus McPherson coming back to the club in Technical Director. I think its a good move and will work.
Explains to me why McIntyre wasn't considered second time round for the job. I suspect GLS wanted McPherson back at the club and linking up with Kearney was the way to achive it.
I suspect GLS also see's it as a bit of an insurance policy should Kearney not work.

Gus wasn`t all that impressed with Charlie Adam at all when he was with us {horses mooth} thought he was unfit and lazy, think back, how many times did Charlie ever play the full 90mins with us ? I don't remember many if any, 5yrs later he was nominated for the 2010/11 PFA players player the year in England, 7million and 4million transfers followed, hope Gus has got better at spotting talent if that's what his new role is
Gus was correct about Adam when he was with us. He was dumped out of Ibrox because of his fitness and attitude. Probably Gus and Andy Millen that shaped Adam up and got him back on track. Listen to the players appreciation of his time with Gus that will tell you all you need to know.
Gus McPherson did a tremendous job with St Mirren and would be a quality addition to the club. Would also be a huge help to Kearney. I'd take him over Jimmy Nichol all day long.

Brilliant move for Gus McPherson, perfect for the role and a good move by the club. Will be a huge help to Kearney and whoever follows Kearney in time. Club for me now seems to be going in the right direction since JR left

To be fair there looked to be a couple of decent players on Monday night, and that was against a full time team.
Yep way better than Stubbs national league junk

Not been confirmed by any official source. Kearney is thinking the offer over. To us it’s a no brainer but I think for him and his family it’s a hard decision. He would be resigning from two jobs and moving his kids from school uprooting his family.
I will wait till it has been confirmed like many on here have mentioned we have jumped the gun before and been embarrassed.Especially when he was passed over first time round !

Why should McIntyre get a chance ?
What if our sooper dooper professional senior players are not happy with him after a few days, a week or a couple of months ?
Are torn faces Captain McGinn and Cammy Smith the new Board of Directors ?
What a crap Club we are.
nope we are a good club and we hopefully deal with someone like Stubbs correctly.
Cammy Smith and Stephen McGinn are good pros, Stubbs is the problem

If McIntyre comes in it's important that we give him a chance and don't expect immediate results. We need to be patient.
He started at County after the early season sacking of Derek Adams, taking charge on 9th September. He then went on to win only 2 out of his first 19 games in charge and managed to avoid relegation finishing 9th.
Hopefully he can make a more immediate impact but change doesn't happen overnight.
similar to jack ross
I doubted myself if Ross and Fowler were going to turn it round after 2 wins in 15 and really struggling.
I think most people though realised the scale of the task and cut them slack. Very few called for the sack.
Anyone coming in will be in the same boat
Stubbs is in a different category altogether. Made a shambles of what was a decent side which needed strengthened, not destroyed.

What... no ITK answers? Just lets get someone sacked, then..... oh f**k... what do we do now?
appoint a proper manager in Jim McIntyre and fix the shambles that has been Stubbs tenure.
your on the wrong side of this debate and probably best to sit back and wonder how others are seeing it so differently from you ?

I didn't say the huge upheaval of players yielded immediate results.
The fact is he turned over 49 players over three years in order to stay afloat in the Premiership. He has wasted an incredible amount of money as a manager. We can't afford that.
How many players did Jack Ross turn over at St Mirren in his time there. I'm sure I seen a post around the 40 mark ??.
It was a fairly significant amount of players anyway. Both Jack Ross and Jim McIntyre took over their respective clubs in very similar circumstances and did outstanding jobs in both cases.
Jim McIntrye would be an excellent appointment for this club and it should be done now.
What a mess he would inherit but i'd back him to keep us up with keeping in touch as best he can till the Jan window and then the club backing him with significant funds to keep us up.
Jim McIntrye has managed at all times in his own right and been a success at QOS, Dunfermline and Ross County.
Hopefully the rumours are true. How they ever appointed Stubbs in front of him I'll never know

Do you remember how many games he went without a win when he went to County?
About 8 or 9 defeats if I remember.
You keep backing Stubbs to come good and I'll go the other way in that I think he's a dud as I have from the day he was appointed.
The funny thing is that I hope you are right

Not for me.
If GLS is going to pull the trigger get McIntyre in to try sort it out.
Couldn't agree more. How Stubbs was given this job in front of Jim McIntyre is and was beyond me.
What a task Jim would have though in turning this shambles round.
Did it at Ross County but would need the board's help big time in January.
Have a funny feeling that McIntryre may just pop up at Tannadice soon.

Exactly. Some people on here just can't seem to get their head round the fact that just because they want something to happen the person involved eg Goodwin might not. Same as some people wanting to keep Jack Ross. He didn't want to stay. We can't force people to come or stay with us.
For what it's worth I think Goodwin is holding off knowing Jack's successor was bound not to do as well after which Goodie would be in a no lose situation coming back.
Danger is Jim picks up another job like Falkirk or Thistle etc. He'd definitely take one of them
Done a tremendous job at Alloa and shows great potential as a manager

Sort of agree with this.
We should have appointed Goodwin the minute JR left.
To wait all that time and the end up with Stubbs was a big mistakeGoodwin didn't want the job

Reading the forum is possible without being registered as is reading social media comments. But...I take your point.
How many potential signings might though is a different question.
I think they are more likely to talk to players currently at the club ?

Stubbs should be held accountable, but not after 3 fecking league games, or less for you, ya walloper.
"Squirm around all you like....................", quality response !
So how many of his new signings have you seen play, who do you rate ?
Were you there yesterday ?
Do you still think we are better than Livingston ?
Your clueless about the club cause you never attend.
Tell me one aspect of Stubbs management that has been acceptable.
right now Stubbs being held accountable by the vast majority of SMFC fans who attend and worse than that by his own players !
No mate you are the walloper, as you put it last week a ZOOMER

Look at the players in that photo and compare to todays squad !. How many do you think they would take off todays team. Even if there were only the 7 on display (Alan Logan sneaking in ?) playing, I reckon they would still win with no keeper !
