  1. Yes, it certainly could. Maybe have needed a slightly bigger budget.  I agree with HSS that the Stands should have been elevated for far better viewing.

Four Stands identical to Hamilton's two would have been perfect.

Alternatively, I would have two,  3000 seater Stands on the East and West sides.

And behind each end, 2000 capacity Standing Areas.

Just a much larger version of Forthbank Stadium with the Terracings covered.

    Any more ideas?

Make the family stand huge with a gym and 2 x 5 a side pitches within and make the away fans use it, shorten the main stand and add another tier, close the west toilets and make everyone pish up the back and put the family in the old away end. Also put it on wheels and tow it tae shortroods Imagine how good...

  2. FT 3-1

Game followed a rather similar template to all our home league games this season. We score 3 or more goals, win comfortably and Lewis Morgan delivers a match winning performance and/or gets man of the match.

We slacked off a bit after the third goal, which is understandable really. Never felt QOTS were good enough to get back into it though. Quite sad to see what's happened to Faddy's career. Give it up James.

Brechin at home next week... let's get the template out again.

I wouldnt agree it was comfortably. There were a few spells in the game where we looked under pressure and sat off them a bit. Still deserved the win overall but need to work on keeping hold of the ball as like the ICT game it got a wee bit scrappy.

Cammy Smith and Liam Smith were brilliant. Solid debut bar one clearence from McCart, Captain led by example and normal service resumed by Lewis.

  3. For those saying cash in in January and buy a replacement, where might we be playing this season had we cashed in on Mallan last January? Far more beneficial for the club to hold onto players like Morgan and sell when the time is right for the club from a football point of view, not just financially. Getting a bit less money in the summer could well be offset against the rewards of a promotion to the top league.

I agree. A straight replacement for morgan would lose us money too unless we settle for a lesser player.
