The World Cup of Cheating 2018  :snore

It has been, hasn't it. There's not much evidence of the beautiful game being played with skill and passion so far. And VAR isn't solving the issue either. Australia should never have had a penalty this afternoon. That was a shameful decision.

It took you 3 minutes. :P

Is that a semi or a full hard-on Stuart ?

Your watch is almost as slow as your mind these days Wilbur. According to the timings posted it's 10 minutes. Whatever it was I read your post, made a coffee, drunk it and then posted. No hard-on for me but I'm sure the fact that I'm responding to you means you can skip the Viagra tonight :P

If that were the purpose then why are folk like pozbaird and cockles not in it?

Pozbaird is probably the most abusive poster on the forum and even posts racist jokes.

Cockles has threatened violence on more than one occasion.

Both should have been banned a long time ago.

Completely agree. And if it's for trolling then SlartiPremiumBonds should have been put in here ages ago too. And if it's for being boring and bringing nothing to the forum there's another half dozen or so that could be stuck in here like Stu Gillespie, Div, Drew, St Lucifer......actually thinking about it maybe that's how this works. Interesting and informative forum users are put in the Sin Bin and are unable to read the main forum cause that's full of abusive, racist dullards. I get it now.

Seething, eh StuD ? Can't wait for your next opportunity to stick your knife in ??

    :D

    Wow, what an attack Wilbur!

It's still not on the Sunderland website. I guess either it's the Womens team or the Under 18's. The rest of the fixtures are all up on the site. St Mirren signing three English non league players to play against a number of current internationalists is just embarrassing.

As far as I know there is currently only two of us in here - the most popular part of the forum currently

StuD, how do you live with so much poison in you?

I have to be honest, it would kill me to see everything in such a negative light.

We all find things to moan about but I have lost count of the number of things you have found cause to get upset by but it really is breathtaking both in scale and breadth. You seem to be absolutely consumed with rage. It's toxic.

None of this stuff matters you know. We'll all be dead soon enough.

Get out and live your life.

What suggests that I am upset?

I'm perfect fine thank you. I just noticed that the official Sunderland website wasn't showing it as a fixture for any of their three teams. I'm guessing perhaps it's Sunderland AFC Ladies that are coming to beat St Mirren.

St Mirren have confirmed that Sunderland will travel to Paisley for a pre-season fixture. The match will see Jack Ross face his former club on Saurday July 21, with a 3 pm kick-off. Ross took St Mirren to the Scottish Championship title last season and they have moved to replace him with the former Black Cats defender Alan Stubbs. The new Sunderland boss gave his backing to that appointment, telling the Daily Record: "The St Mirren job is a far better and more attractive proposition now than when I took over the club. "I was always a big advocate of the positive things around the club and not just when we enjoyed success. "One thing that hasn’t changed is the fact St Mirren possess masses of potential. It will be the same for Alan. "When I left the club I hadn’t finished the job as circumstances dictated I would end up elsewhere. I’m sure Alan realises and will have looked at it that way. "I would love him to finish the job I started and see the potential for St Mirren to grow and help re-establish themselves as a Premiership club. "Given the success Alan has had as a manager with Hibs and the manner in which his have teams played I think this is as a good fit for St Mirren," he added. "Every manager when they are out of work wants an opportunity to get back into the game. "For Alan, the St Mirren job is a good one to inherit at this moment. "He will be walking into a dressing room with a core group of players who are used to winning games which is a good thing." The St Mirren game is the fourth confirmed pre-season fixture for Sunderland. They will face Darlington on Wednesday, July 11 at Blackwell Meadows, with kick-off at 7.30 pm, before travelling to League Two side Grimsby Town at Blundell Park on Tuesday, July 17. That will also be a 7.30 pm kick-off. A clash with National League Hartlepool United at Victoria Park will kick-off at 3pm and sees Ross return to the club where he spent time as a player. Further games are to be announced in due course. The Black Cats squad are due to return later this month to begin pre-season training, and will also take part in a training camp in Portugal.

Weird that the official Sunderland website doesn't have it despite being updated recently, and that the local newspaper has it but quotes St Mirren only.

Its water off a ducks back to me - especially when I log off and see just how dead the main forum is. It looks like all the action and traffic is in here and we're not missing out on anything at all. You've certainly posted more times in the Sin Bin today than on any other part of the site.

  9. Just been on the safc.com website to check out their fixtures for the coming season and I note that there is still no mention of the "supposed" friendly against St Mirren.

Sunderland 1st team have listed friendlies against

    Darlington

    Hartlepool

    Grimbsy

Sunderland Under 23's are due to play

    Silkworth CW

    Shildon

    Sunderland RCA

    Stockton Town

    Whitely Bay

    Stockton Town again

    and Morpeth.

Oh right, I thought it was something new. You’re right you did say this to death back in the day :P

Absolutely. Since resigning my membership I wouldn't have any reason to contact any of the committee because they do not represent me in any way. I'm a long time backer of the Independent Supporters Association movement across many clubs and quite frankly I think the collective committee at SMISA over many years has long lost sight of what the principles were supposed to be. Even SMISA's own literature bears no resemblance to how "Buy The Buds" has worked in practice.

It's a great shame because if it had been executed properly the off field revenue that Gordon Scott seems to finally have accepted that the club needs to become more of a force in the Scottish game, would have been rolling in day after day, week after week, even during the close season.

I have two theories to why you've been sin binned.

    1. Your post pretty much saying a good number of active members talk s*it. It's a pretty harsh message and it was even harsher the analogy used.
    2. Div has seen your posts under the StuD nickname go from 'I'm only commenting on one post' to 'I'm only commenting on a select few posts' to almost 600 posts in two months and is concerned if it continues to grow you might crash the website

I thought the analogy about the toilet paper company was well made. I don't think I've got anything to apologise for there. As for (2) the only person I've let down there is myself. Div profits from traffic on the website. I've assisted in contributing to his income. I'm disappointed in that.

  12. 8 minutes ago, helpmaboab said:

Bitching about Div is deserving of all the punishment that comes with it. This is not 'your' site to make demands on how it operates. It's a bit like rolling up to the club where the bouncers, paid by management, decide whether or not your presence add anything to the club or the enjoyment of others. Stop having a collective dummy spit about being giving the heave-ho for being a prick, being a pain in the arse, being rude, etc. etc. etc. Sure, behave like that if that it is your want, but if you get caught out and kicked out, remember it was your call. You knew what you were doing, took the risk, now "do the crime, do the time".

If it was me, I'd either ban you outright, or put you in the Sin Bin where you would be unable in any way shape or form to read the main forum. I'd also make those outside the Sin Bin unable to post in there. If you transgressed in there beyond a level set by management as acceptable you then get banned.

The alias business is less easy than suggested if certain identity requirements are compulsory on registration.

Bottom line is, behave in a 'reasonable ' manner or suffer the consequences.

    Have a nice day. :D

    Collective dummy spit?

I have hardly spat the dummy - as yet anyway - and who am I supposed to be a collective with?

I haven't breached any of the forum guidelines unlike others who issue threats, like Cockles, or those who make racist posts, like Pozbaird. I don't even think anyone could claim I was being impolite in any way to Marrez - one of a very few BAWA users I've respected for a number of years.

I won't be boosting Div's user stats by creating another alias.

You got chucked off the Facebook site too. Is that correct?

No - not so far as I'm aware. I'm still using Facebook without any problems. I'm even still able to use the St Mirren Supporters Page currently.

So whit  wis the email aboot? Anything important? Just a wee blether wis it?

They were all related to my dissatisfaction with SMISA around the time when I cancelled my membership - the broken promises, the lack of community involvement and the subverting of member funds into a business to pay players wages, I asked for a refund of my membership fees as SMISA had clearly missold their offering. All issues that were also done to death by me on here at the time. As I've said they are from the end of 2016 and the  beginning of 2017. The only one that was different was when I asked a question about the franchises that operate around the stadium which I got no answer too - which didn't surprise me as I did resign my membership the very next day.

I've got nothing personal against David Nicol, I don't know the man at all. Unlike others I don't have any reason to talk him up because he's a mate, or to talk him down other than through personal experience. I was simply responding on the other thread to Marrez who had written that he believed SMISA had an excellent representative on the St Mirren board currently and I was detailing my experience and stating why I didn't think he was good at all. I presume Div must have taken extreme offense to that as it appears I've been put in the SIn Bin for expressing my honest view and experience.

Noticed today that i cant read anything on the Smfc discussion thread whilst logged in. You have to laugh out loud at the infantile pettiness of the "its my baw brigade"... its a bit like the Trump communication team only wanting people to read/see their fake news and complete denial. Ah well if they get a boner out of it, thats up to them.

It's pretty pathetic but more than that it must be worrying for Divs clients. Here, on his own website, he has tried to lock out two users, and yet the "hack" is so easy all you need to do is log out and you can read all the information you're supposed to be locked out from. I'm not sure I'd want to be a customer of the Big Front Door if web security is that lax.

Not that it's worth the effort logging out at the moment. Two active threads - one that's been done to a standstill on Gavin Reilly, the other is supposed to be about new signings where names like non league Josh Heaton seem to be having no effect at all in driving traffic.
