Hello!
Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask but...
I live in London so only go up to Glasgow once every few years to visit relatives and normally doesn't coincide with a home fixture! This time it does!
Will be up for Friday 21st Feb, but can't seem to buy a ticket online. Any help / advice?
Cheers
Davo
Where abouts in London are you? A few of us get together to watch the televised games now and again. Used to watch them out West Kensington way but more often up round Finsbury Park these days. Welcome to join us if you fancy it. -
Never any doubt....

High punts to Jackson who has three defenders on him as we have a massive gap between the striker and any support to him. It's groundhog day tactically. Got to try something different.
It's almost like the manager doesn't have a clue....

It stems from UEFA rules. Each member of UEFA needs to set a blackout window which encourages attendance at live games in their country. That’s why St Mirren TV is only allowed “outwith the UK”. Technically, games could be shown live without restriction mid-week, but it’s probably a ballache for the Uni to do that.
I read melmac original post as meaning St. Mirren TV would need to apply for a licence to broadcast live in potentially all of the 27 EU countries post brexit as opposed to none at the moment?
Oops! Read it quickly and jumped to the wrong conclusion. FWIW I don't think St Mirren would be caught by the revised Regs as they'd neither be broadcaster nor an on-demand service provider, but I may well be wrong

Unfortunately sounds very familiar. Far far too early to part ways yet - but we can't go on like this.Does the following article sound all to familiar for comfort, came across it tonight, very worrying.

A good bloke David. Intelligent and passionate about the Saints. Best of luck to him in the future.

Cracking article. Welling up here!
Did anyone every identify who the bloke Jack went into the crowd to speak to was?

Can't help but think the gaffer potentially leaving during the week will have unsettled the team.

What a tremendous day.Bit of a random question, but does anyone know of any secure parking in Dumfries - like a multistory or indoor car park with CCTV?
I'm going to be driving up from London for the festive period and will be using QOTS as a convenient pit stop! Only issue is that- if it's anything like last year - I'll have a motor full of the family's bags and presents visible from outside the car when parked up. Obviously not keen on having the car broken in to, so just wondering if anyone knows anywhere decent to park? I've parked at the Ice Bowl before, but that was pretty exposed from memory.
I appreciate nowhere is 100% safe, but any tips would be gladly received.
Motor intact - presents have made it to Paisley - and I'm drinking a Moretti. [emoji481]
On the fitba front: Fantastic comeback - absolutely delighted for big Gary Mac. An iffy first 10 mins and I actually thought he was getting hooked when Eckersley was subbed, but he ended up having a decent game and scored the winner. Fairytale stuff.
I can't remember feeling this good about a Saints side since the millennium season. That comeback today was up there with Junior's goal against Raith at Starks Park that year. It's testament to the football Jack Ross has us playing that even at 2-0 down I though we could still win it. I'm a happy man tonight.

Why don't you get a hold of that Homeless boy who guarded that Chippie owners vehicle for 2 hours in the p!shin rain in Glasgow last week? She had left her window open he noticed her bag in the front seat. It had £450.00 in the bag but the guy never robbed it he handed into a nearby lawyers office.................fair play to him.
An excellent idea, if someone else would kindly drive him down from Glasgow for me! -
Oh aye. Have decided to get the train [emoji6]Could you give a wee description of the vehicle or even the registration. Just so we can all keep a look out for it [emoji6] -

He's alive! I thought you'd been called back up to active spy duties Dougie ;-)
Can't help you with Paisley B&B's I'm afraid as I stay with my folks when I'm up, but the F3K is a mere Tube journey away....

If we finish in 9th place, does anyone know when the play-off games will be?
The dates don't seem to have been announced yet - but I'm guessing with the final game of the season being 6th May, the play-offs will likely be on 9th/10th (first leg) and 13th/14th (final). I think it's normally the case that the games are straight after the last game of the season, rather than being delayed for a week.
I've been invited to a stag do on 13th/14th in Munich (work colleague, good guy, but St Mirren take precedence). Just trying to work out if I need to make my excuses!

Disgraceful state the Club is in. Shameful.

I don't think I've ever been more depressed as a St Mirren fan. I can't see how we'll have any budget to fix this in January. Utterly dross tonight.

I help 'run' the London St Mirren Supporters' Club. The main tip would be choose one pub where Saints games will be shown and always go there. We've got a 'hardcore' of about 5 who watch most games, but I'd say we've had 30 or 40 come and join us over the years. Some folks just in London for the day, and others who've been down more permanently. Things should grow from there. We've even got a flag! Post in 'matchday travel' on here when you're heading down the first few times. Also get a Facebook page up and running too as that way folks can search for you. We've even got one regular from Brisbane whose grandpa was from Paisley and who sought us out via Facebook when he moved to London! We'll be in the Famous 3 Kings in West Kensington if you're ever in London when a Saints game is on.
Note - all of the above assumes you can pick up BBC Alba in Hong Kong :-)

Sounds good. More likely to be up Finsbury Park way as most of us are North London based. We used to have a couple of lads in Chiswick and Hammersmith but they've headed up the road now, so F3K a bit less convenient. Also means I don't need to sit on the Tube for an hour on the way home needing a pish!
