The bookies like our new signings!! Our odds on finishing bottom have drifted without a game being played...

    St Mirren 4/7
    Ayr 7/2
    Dumbarton 7/2
    Raith 16/1

Updated odds on who will finish bottom. Doesn't make great reading

    St Mirren 2/9
    Ayr 5/1
    Raith 10/1
    Dumbarton 14/1

Mckenzie is fit for this 1, big boost.

Don't get me wrong, that's great news and I'm glad to hear it. But does no one else think it's odd this thing he does where he goes off with an apparent hamstring injury but is fine to play the following week?

Fair enough if it's a one off, he felt something and was taken off as a precaution. But this is the 3rd time it's happened (if he plays tomorrow) and we have ended up losing all 3 of those games. Maybe not so much of an issue now we have more cover.

He's been on strike since his dad ,Steve , was sacked a manager. Club captain. Possibly a great signing and the one we've been waiting on.

Ah, I was wondering why he had started every game and then dropped totally from the squad for the last 3. I've a good feeling about this one.

  4. No abuse Bud, simply me pondering ?   You did notice that it was a question i posed ?
Cant for the life of me understand why some people seem intent in undermining anything that happens with the club.

You would be surprised then who I heard it from. It wasn't just a fellow fan.

But it's good to hear it's not true and hopefully he'll be in the team soon.
  5. Couldn't be further from the truth.
Stelios has been excellent by all accounts, the main dilemma they have is whether to play him right or left back as he's very comfortable with both feet.
The manager went with the same defence that played so well in Dundee. It didn't work out as planned obviously but if he had changed the defence and we got beat then he'd have been slaughtered for tinkering. The life of a football manager.
I'd expect a few changes in the defence next weekend.

Fair enough. I heard a lot of rubbish then [emoji52]
  6. I must have missed that interview / statement /quote Bud .  Perhaps you could post a link where that was said..... or even hinted at ?
Or perhaps you`re just another full of shit so called supporter who enjoys making things up to cause unrest ?

I got it from a reasonable source. As for the abuse...... whatever mate.
  7. This is the kind of shite that really annoys me on this forum. It was clear for anyone who was at the game that he had a hamstring injury. Such is his importance to the team he actually went back on. He has also been our best player week in week out. Watch him win EVERY header and the way he attacks the ball and tell me his heart is not in it.
Utter nonsense, like the vast majority of posts on this forum!!

If he's out for 4 weeks with a hamstring then I will concede that I'm wrong. If he's back 'fit' next week, then I don't understand what's wrong with him.
I agree he's a decent player. He's also becoming a liability with these injuries. Just as Quinn was with his inability to last more 60 mins.

Don't understand why we changed from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2. Lost the midfield by doing that.

Ideally I'd like to see a midfield of Morgan, McGinn, Storie, Macgennis, Smith.

Whatever is on the table for Mallan take it.

Play some proper f'king full backs. Hopefully McKenzie's injury isn't too bad.

I'm sure McKenzie will be fine. He's developing a habit of being subbed off with an injury but being fine for the next game. I'm starting to think, decent player that he his, his heart's not in it.

Was a decent player for us but not convinced this is a good move! Lets face it his career went into decline when he left us, hope he proves me wrong if he signs!

That's harsh! He was a regular in the Championship with Watford for over a year and a key player for them until he picked up a bad knee injury. He was keeping Danny Drinkwater and Andros Townsend out the starting XI.

Then later he was a regular starter for Sheffield United in 2013/14 when they reached the semi-final of the FA Cup. That's not too bad at all for a player who's been unlucky with injuries.
