Just back from a few days in Lisbon...32c every day ...roasting. At Inverness Airport on the way down, the Cardhu I bought in Tescos for £25 was an eye watering £61
Bottle of Balvenie Doublewood was £58
Surely even tourists would know they are being fleeced there ?? or would they. ???
Anyway, currently having a Haig Club and Coke with ice, as recommended on the Bottle. Nice.
P.S. Bought the dearest round ever on Friday night in the Hotel...19 Drinks ...255 Euros
Were they litre bottles or 750ml?

Certainly looked rather excellent over Hampden last night.

Eric Whittington never saw St Mirren win in 52 games - until this weekend

Well there goes the clean sheet target our back let us down againSo....instead of cheering the team on to victory at the game....you find the time to go on-line to imply "I told you so"....? Wow! It.....it ALMOST seems like you're actually pleased that Saints lost a goal.....

It was the clean sheet target that is at risk. Yes we do have players that are due back but they are not here now so can't help. Do I think we will keep two clean sheets in the next two games no. I would be surprised if there were a lot that think we can keep two clean sheets
So do you think it'll be Raith or Brechin that will get on the scoresheet or do you think it'll be both......?

Could cause carnage.

Weird thing; earlier this week I thought Saints were going to lose three nil at East End Park. Dunno, I just had this feeling.
Off day for the team, simple as that, but still sitting second so not a catastrophe. Still have the same amount of points in September this year as at the end of December LAST year so I'm thankful for that at least.
Onwards and forwards; bit of effort next couple of games and we should be fine.

I strolled in to the ticket office in the main stand at three o'clock, no queue whatsoever, got a ticket across the counter, wandered round to the away end, through the turnstile and into the ground barely having to break stride. No disgrace as far as I am concerned.

I would but changing Titles really really upsets the sensitive.
If that's the case I thought you'd be indulging in such a thing on a constant basis.....

Title of this should be changed; Scotland played The Netherlands, not just Holland......

Yeah big regret never having seen them live. "Can't Buy a Thrill" one of my favourite all time albums.
For me it's that, The Royal Scam and Gaucho. But, to be fair, you can't really go wrong, they're all magic.
Missed them when they've played Scotland since they got back together and I can't think why I didn't go. A real favourite band. Very sad news.

On the contrary. Long term she'll be a loss.... to the SNP. Weak, insipid and about as charismatic as dry paint. In fact she was a walking promethazine pill. On the plus side, I don't see anyone who will be any more captivating waiting in the wings so, all's good in the independence camp.
To be fair, she may have been well out of her depth but, for my money, she was a vast improvement on the previous two. Murphy was just a charlatan, a chancer of the highest order who was in it for what he could get. And Lamont was an absolute, utter embarrassment to Scottish politics. Dugdale may have been woefully ill-equipped for the position but, more than the other two mentioned, her heart appeared to be in the right place.
Edited to add:- mind you, still never a leader.

I heard he forgot his grandmother's birthday once. What a complete bastard Jack Ross is to sign a complete bastard like that! Yet more dreadful business by the club. Uttar rubbish......

Fair dos mate. We're also coming up for the QotS game on 23rd September, so maybe catch up then.
Scribbled into the diary. ("Hello, Barrhead Travel? Can you book me a city break for the weekend of the 22nd of September....?")
-
You about for the Falkirk game mate?
In all honesty I'm not sure I'm gonna get to a game before September. Always a lot of stuff going on in August but on top of that there's work stuff to deal with as well and general background stuff leading on from that. I'll furnish you with more details over a pint some time. Let us know the next time you'll be in town.

You live in Jersey; the intelligence quotient makes Terry f**kwit from Viz comic look like a PhD student.
You about for the Falkirk game mate? Me and the aforementioned Mr. H are up for the game.
Thanks for the warning. I'll give it the bodyswerve and avoid the chipmunk-in-a-blender noise that passes as your laughter.
Been a long time.
Not long enough, as far as I'm concerned.
