I'm going on the 28th.
So am I. Can't wait
-
Go now Tommy although its probably too late.
-
I think he's a thicko. Certainly sounds like one !
Even more thick sounding than Danny Lennon?
-
Absolutely disgusting performance.
FFS cheer up you.
-
Never said he can't do with some help but your OP suggested he was fcuked............................
Sure, he's another year older and I agree we need some assistance and quick, he's been our saviour for the last few seasons, we need a consistant scorer and quick.
Harsh-don't think I said he was fcuked
-
Quite a statement and would be a dramatic fall from grace.
Why he would go from more than decent last season to oblivion, well, only you know.
As I say I hope not and only time will tell but the older you get the harder it is to recover from injuries etc. We cannot rely on him to get us out the sh&t and play twice a week forever.
-
Certainly looks like it. I wouldn't have bothered rushing him. Wait till he's fully fight and get the real Thompson back. A 50% ST added absolutely zero this evening.
A win is a win and it's good to witness one again. Onwards to United.
Do you think that is likely to happen? I fear this could be one season too many for Tommo. I hope I am wrong..
-
I would honestly say that Reilly would offer just as much as drury so what's point playing drury when he's not any better than we've got
Drury has played a couple of games and despite his 2 bad misses on saturday I thought he did not too bad in his general play. Think we need to give him time. Reilly has had umpteen chances to impress without success,
Edit Wasn't there tonight so not sure how he did
-
A win is a win. Hopefully the turning point in our season.
Edit to add Quit the moaning would you rather be a Man U or Celtic fan tonight ?

Hibs looking to bring in a new Central Defender after "another club" have shown interest in Michael Nelson according to the BBC. Could this be us ???
Is he any better than what we have?
Lack of goals on Saturday was not the CH fault??
Don't be daft. Why would we want to sign a centre half .
I would like to think we are interested in a central defender !
-
What a stupid thing to say with absolutely no evidence, These player are regularly tested for drugs, Hope your lucky he's not reading this or a slander charge could heading your way.
It'll take frigging ages to get this guy fit. Looks a bit old, he drinks and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he even took drugs. Still. TC knows best.
Not sure who the bigger bamstick is on this one. Can we start a poll?
-
Its seems to be his knee that is the problem although our nice playing surface should help . Firhill is shit .
TBF if we can keep him fit he is an outstanding player and its probably his injuries that have stopped him playing at a much higher level.
-
2 little birdies told me, Drew and Vince.
Make no mistake, this is a tremendous signing if he stays fit.
I would take anything he says with a pinch of salt. He knows nowt !!
-
He's a defensive midfielder why does he need to be big ?
I don't recall saying he did !!
-
B'strd, ruined my "Friday" night.
Well as long as Saints don't waste my Saturday AGAIN !!
-
He is 5ft10
Uhu so he's not that big which was my point.
-
Playing tomorrow....................fcuk sake, I've missed a day out.
Yeah, it's Friday.
It is in my world as I'm aff tomorrow so
-
Really pleased to have signed Issac as he is not only a very good player, but ideal as a replacement for Goody when he's out. Welcome to the buddies big man.
He's quite wee is he not ? Granted bigger than you
-
I certainly am not labeling Cornell a wage thief. McGowan seemed to be given that accolade when others who contributed a lot less last season were not. I do not see why McGowan should be singled out.
Eh! maybe because my original reply was to do with players playing tomorrow .
-
Like most on here I have no idea what McGowan was earning. However I have not read the term 'wage thief' levelled at Harkins, Grainger, Bahoken, Djema-Djemba, Cornell, Caprice or even Gary Teale who was out injured almost all season. McGowan may not have been at his best but he played most weeks and tried hard most weeks.
Aye well done with that I see what you did there. That was the rumour then. His general play didn't even deserve half that. Could count on 1 hand how many decent games he had.
-
Excellent signing, squad complete!
Agreed on signing, good player. Could still do with a centre half though !
-
I go along with Ayrshire Saints team line-up. I think McLean's best position is playing off a striker where he can run at defences and shoot which to me are his strongest qualities. Playing in front of a back four he is pretty well useless.
And to me McGowan was not a 'wage thief'' - not in the same category than a host of others that we had last season that never have that accusation levelled at them and rarely got a game with us. McGowan played most games when fit even if he didn't reach the dizzy heights of a couple of seasons ago.
TBF most players on an alleged £4K a week would play every week when fit. It doesn't mean they were worth it ?
-
Paul Hartley, Kevin Thomson, Gay Harkins - I predict either a very unhappy or gloating home support.
Not forgetting Paul 'the wage thief' McGowan. Maybe he will be doing his community service though.
