Three "bet builder" bets on tonight's football .... 1 up, 1 down, and 1 cashed out early (luckily) because I'm a shitebag sometimes.1302509884_Screenshot_20221017-212719_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.b105ce4954178d333cedd64ae1482776.jpg1722929964_Screenshot_20221017-213936_SamsungInternet.thumb.jpg.9b974d2bfbf1c801080e1e535c0b9f85.jpg

Well done.  I wasn’t far away with a freebie bet builder - a red card for Charlton would have returned nearly £900.

    Well done mate.

Overall I'm not doing too well right now but it's only a wee interest.

Be different if I was pishing away real money.

Cheers - your luck will turn..  I have a small budget too that is augmented by any freebies from the bookies.

The lad with the Saints top is my grandson.  I sent him a top with Baccus and number 17 on the back but it didn’t arrive on time for him to get it signed at the game today.  Posted on 29th August and it hasn’t even left the UK yet according to the Royal Mail tracker😕.

The top arrived the day after the game.   Either the Royal Mail tracker is broken or the postman in Oz is an exiled Celtic fan.

Could they be using the community season tickets distributed to schools.

I'd suspect every school that received season tickets will have a clamour for them when it's either celtic or rangers visiting and the ST's are like a back door for some supporters who couldn't get tickets for the away end.

You could be right.  There is a photo over on P&B of the celebrations following the second goal and there are a fair number in the stand sitting with their arms folded so to them GIRFUY!

  5. Out for a meal last night with my son ahead of his birthday today and he showed me that he had a tenner on us at 12/1.  I thought well that’s £10 down the drain.  He cashed out £95 when we went 2 up - some consolation since he didn’t get to the game today.

  6. A fairly decent striped shirt for sale !

I am thinking about putting the limited edition shirt shown below up for sale on eBay but if any bud would like to make a serious offer for this, presumably unique shirt, before I put it up on eBay next Thursday 8th September please send me a message.

If it is sold to a fan I can bring it up to hand over at the Celtic game on the 18th.  The shirt is obviously unworn and is framed (frame is a bit tatty).

  7. In 1973 I travelled to Glasgow to buy tickets from a newsagents on Paisley Road West (Buchanans I think it was) for the Scotland v Czechoslovakia World Cup qualifier at Hampden.  The tickets were on sale at a number of shops throughout Scotland but you could also get them from Hampden either by queuing up or sending them a cheque or postal order with a stamped addressed envelope.

Isn’t it amazing the progress we have made in almost half a century.

A bit peculiar that you added '3 goals in the match' to your line when you had also chosen 'either side to win by 3+ goals'. That kinda covers it already.

    🙂

I know - just banged a few selections down while I was on the bus about 2 mins before it kicked off.   Not been a good day with the early kick off failing on my next bet - finding out that there were 2 disallowed goals and a penalty miss just rubbed it in.
