  1. What kind of vain twat would want their picture on a hall of fame? I prefer my anonymity.

I had a bizarre experience last year at Greenhill Road, I think it might have been for a midweek cup tie between St Mirren and Motherwell. My boys and I picked up our tickets at the main stand and pushed our way past stewards to walk through the large Motherwell support. My eldest son saw some guys he knew and they started chanting his name, a young lady shouted "Dickson your getting f**ked tonight" - I'm sure she meant me :P - and my youngest son passed a group of his school mates some of whom shook hands with him, and one girl gave him a cuddle.

We got to the St Mirren stand, sat down, a group of four guys started booing us, another called me a fat wanker, and someone else threw a half eaten pie which hit my youngest sons back.

Sticking pictures of myself up around the ground doesn't seem like a route towards watching a game in peace and quiet.

Enough of this who's right and who's wrong regarding the CiC, lets get down to brass tacks...

So your sons receive banter, hugs and are welcomed by their peers when in public where as onsight you are verbally abused with possibly hot, definitely fatty foods thrown at you

Was this some kind of retaliation for the smashed up DVD incident or possibly some kind of militant equality group for pensioners or disabled person's rights?...

  2. I'm looking for some advice on how rare it actually is (and is it worth anything).

He never said anything about selling it.

He's only asking how much someone would pay for it.

I don't know if I'd go as far as saying it was 'very good'. I just based my judgement on what the OP actually said...

Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay.

  3. I'd be up for sticking in a few quid for a brick or some such.

One thing I like about this place, although we all think of each other as bawbags at times, there is a sense of camaraderie between the support, especially on the forum.

Again, RIP buddie, you'll be missed on here and by the sounds of it, in The Tile also.

    God bless.

  4. The whole thing was fucked anyway. Why? Read on....

A few months ago Sandman told me the fences surrounding the route going over the racecourse had been taken down. A bit weird considering they had been up for around a year at minimum, and were presumably doing prep work prior to construction on the route starting, so did a bit of digging to find out just wtf was going on.

Didn't take me long to find out - apparently the numpties only just realised partway into the works, that the route would take them straight through the gas fuel tanks at the M8. Cue mass panic and worries of whether or not it was possible/economically viable to shift them and how much it would cost. Of course this only stayed on the architecture & planning websites and wasn't reported by the general press - presumably as they're too dense to go on such a site and realise the implications of this sort of thing.

So, with the project essentially needing either a bundle of extra cash to move the tanks or go back to Sq. 1, it's surely nae surprise Swinney and co are gubbing it.

The ones that planned the thing to start with need fucking shot for complete incompetence. They presented a phony "What do you prefer: viaduct or embankment?" question to the locals in losing a several fitba pitches in a deeply unpopular move, without actually bothering to work out what'd happen after it crossed them and how viable the whole scheme would be.

    Utter. Fucking. Muppets.

That's funny you found all that stuff out, cos I found exactly the same thing by reading the link on HSS' original thread about this...

  5. I'm practically a mac virgin, apart from fingering a few of the older models in my school days.

Due to court orders, fines and threats of prosecution after my 3 year hate mail campaign to Bill Gates - some people don't find receiving mailed jobbies as funny as I do, it seems (specky twat, probably a closet homo).

So anyways, since Windows is more shite than everything. I think I want a mac. Don't want a linux machine as usually their users are smelly gimps more interested in sci-fi than normal things such as animal porn.

Any buddie out there know anything about these contraptions and if they'll speed up my endless web hunts for hardcore beastiality sites any?

Oh aye, I need to do web pagey stuff on it anaw.

  6. It's difficult to recommend one. However, I'll give it a go.Probably, the more recent books are easier to get.

Try "Jarka Ruus"(2003) .It's the first of a trilogy which has typical elf/wraith/gnome stuff in it.

"Running with the demon" is more modern and is part of the word and the void trilogy. It is ultimately linked to the very first "Shannara" books, which doesn't become obvious until you read his most recent trilogy "genesis of Shannara".

FWIW I read books more as "bubble gum for the mind" and for straight out entertainment.I don't really like non-fiction [although I have read a few biographies/autobiographies for some of my favourite comedians] and literary "classics" don't do anything for me either.

I just have this feeling that our respective expectations from reading a book might be a tad different.

Youd probaly likethe Harry Potter books if you read all that kinda stuff

  7. I have to be brutally honest and admit that I've not actually read any of them, such is my pre-formed prejudice. So my view of Mr Brooks' literary prowess may well be unjust and based largely on ignorance, but I have, nevertheless, formed an impression of it from reading book reviews, Wiki references, and so forth. I have formed the view that he has, like so many others in the genre, mistaken overly lazy derivativeness for originality, but I accept that I may be totally wrong on this ( I did think this of Donaldson, too, and still do up to a point, but genuinely enjoyed the Covenant books). Tell you what though, I'll give it a go. Which book would you recommend I start on ?

No offense or anythin but this guys a bit of a bawbag

  8. I think I already am soundly asleep after these last few posts.

To get back on topic, and to add to the general confusion. Is there not two bands called findo gask?, one that are around just now and get played on Radio Scotland a lot and the other being the rock band from a while back.

    know what you mean exactly

I think books are boring as well and most people that read them ar usually boring as well :D
