Likewise I'm no expert in finances but either way we certainly are not debt free, I'd be very surprised if any SPL club are to be honest, the sale of McLean if it happens will secure certain aspects of the clubs future for a while it will not be a cash windfall where we can go out and start signing players that's for sure.

I'm afraid your right like most clubs we do hence why we need to sell to survive, I have never heard DL or any club official say we are debt free ?
If and when we do sell on McLean I really don't see DL getting much if anything from the sale, this money will be used to clear bank debts and general running costs of the club. Remember if in the region of 500k or 750k as been mentioned that will be spread over maybe 1 to 2 years paid in instalments and most likely subject to Kenny's performances/appearances.

Plenty of reports stating it is looking like in the region of 750k for McLean and to a previous poster why wouldn't dl see much of it? We are debt free with a league cup semi final on the horizon which will surely cover most if not all of the difference without rangers
IMO dl will get a good amount of what is made on McLean to re invest in the squad be it wages or a small transfer fee for players people need to stop being so negative about our clubs financial position we are one of the best kept clubs in Scotland simple as that any extra money we make is intact that extra money
What makes you think we are debt free ? I have npt seen any turnover reports but I was of the opinion we run at a loss and do indeed have debt ? I may be wrong.
If that is the case I don't imagine there would be much if any made available to DL.

Having seen him at a recent hospitality game where he came in after game he couldn't look anyone in the eye and looked really uncomfortable I think this could be true, he is one of those players who is very easy to dislike and we did like all other teams. He is one of us now so maybe some need to give it a rest and support the lad, personally I thought when he came on against Kilmarnock he turned the game.

Parkin in decent but IMO SFL not SPL player, Beattie has proved he can play at this level and higher however questionable attitude it would seem. If a Manager can get him back on track he's a real handful and maybe DL or more so TC could be the man.

And most likely on about 12k p/w at Tel Aviv, he'll I'd expect end up in the lower English/Conference leagues they still pay far more than most SPL clubs.
